sad to hear that life means you can't write! Would be interested in where you weretaking this as it's a real shame that you're unable to finish it! I have been reading it on EF - cos further in front and I'm not the biggest reader - too busy writing but i thought this was or rather is great! :) hope your life gets less stressful and compicated soon :)

Author's Response: Yes, he is family. There's something in Leto's past that makes them family; that'll come up later. Like, much later. He's actually going to have more shit thrown at him before he starts healing.

I'm sorry for Spike to have to go through this. I wonder if that should bring something... (like making him stronger?)
Buffy is ready to move on with the Immortal? Too bad she let herself get influenced by her Scoobies again.
And Angel doesn't intend to tell Buffy either, huh?
Well I hope we won't see too much (or any?) Buffy/Immortal?
Author's Response: Well, you've got to start at the bottom to climb to the top, and I think I've pushed Spike as far down as he can go. No, not much of B/I. He's just kind of a place holder anyways.

Dumb girl! If she knew anything about Spike she would know that the need to go to Buffy will only make him work harder to get well enough to do so. Plus, he's already starting to get those feelings like he's forgetting something important. Alanna seems a little too attached to Spike considering he just woke up. I suspect that's going to become more important as this fic progresses!
Author's Response: Alanna's coming from the idea that he's going to go period, even if he can't walk. That Spike wouldn't stick around long enough to actually get better. And all will be revealed in time (cue mystical music.)

So there are more then two spells? Because if you count (lifting one of the small forgetting spells they'd cast over the injured vamp) and at the end telling I couldn't do it. and The spell stays.
Spike is still under the spells.
I fear Leto is right, Spike won't be pleased to get to know he was under a spell.
Author's Response: There was a small one that kept him for realizing he was practically paralyzed. It was the big, Buffy-forgetting spell that she couldn't lift.

Interesting! Like the idea of Haven and I think it's a great place for Spike to recuperate. Suppose he'll have lots of questions when he can stay awake long enough to ask them.

I've read most of your other stories, but I was really unsure about this after the prologue. You reeled me in with this chapter! Love the annoying Buffy in Spike's head! It was mostly the mutually shared dream that did it though. Excited for the next chapter now that Spike's awake!
Author's Response: I'm glad you gave this a chance; it's turning out to be a bit more...epic...than I originally envisioned. I'm hoping I can pull it off; I'm trying to break Spike and put him back together again, which isn't as easy as it sounds. We'll see. Thanks for sticking with me so far :) Your feedback?
