You're an awesome writer and I've enjoyed my sleepless Sunday night with your magic. Thanks! I hope you've become a writer, please scare with us the books you've written so I can buy them :)
story wise. I'm still not aboard the spuffy ship, I feel buffy is getting the left overs regardless of how many flashback we get, or inner turmoil spike shares with us. I wish she'd gotten married too and shared a pregnancy with another man that wasn't spike... And THEN met up with widowed, yet still in loved with his wife, spike. I get they're supposed to love each other now, but as much as I adore them getting together, it's still a lot of "bleh" feeling being evoked.
like I almost want to root for Claire and spikes love to be the bigger and better love. To me what buffy is doing for him no longer compares. Despite all that's happened, and what you have them say to each other, it's amounted to a lesser, less grandeur love. Story that spike and Clair's.
Lastly, I want to say that I kept rooting for her stay to be momentary, to set everyone's hearts at ease and then say good bye by hoping back into the portal to her alternate reality.

I don't know how she's laughing. I can't eve breathe trying to block out that Giles and dawn are gone.she doesn't seem too bothered by their deaths, or it's been very easy to put behind her. And I'm not buying this whole "he's not happy" thing. He's had plenty of happiness. Basically, I'm put off by spike.

I can't get over that he loved some one else. I don't want this to be a spuffy anymore. Drusla had 100 years, 15 is a not much to that, I don't care how he tells it. What he had with Clair was so much more valuable. Marriage, a home, a child, so many firsts. To come in seconds to that is just lame-o.
Really hoping ping for a buffy angel hook up for some reason :s

I'm feeling so hurt that he got married after 30 measly years. And more that she didn't ask about angel. Even as a hardcore spuffy fan, I thought about angel immediately.

VERY true to life and well-stated! I've seen fics that miss this very important point.
And in particular - Buffy is just a few years older than Mya (no more than 4 or 5 in story terms, I think?) 20 is not necessarily different from 16 - it can be, of course, but it depends in part on the maturity of the individuals , and Mya seems very mature. But still - Buffy's age almost makes her more of a slightly older sister or friend than a stepmom (although it happens all the time I guess in RL). I suppose this is good for Buffy - Mya becomes a replacement for Dawn? She's actually similar to Dawn in some respects, but seems slightly more together and mature.
The uncertainty on both of their parts as to what the relationship is now, where can it go, can they even hug one another is beautifully expressed. The part about Spike saying Buffy's name aloud is very poignant.

Well, I'm glad Buffy didn't stay dead. Her being worried about bed hair was funny. Poor Spike, always blaming himself. I'm really happy that Mya likes Buffy. I just love seeing updates for this story!

Holy Crap! Talk about a cliffhanger. I can't say I was expecting that. More please. Don't leave me hanging too long. Poor Spike, having to lose Buffy all over again (I'm assuming the phrase "And then she went" means that she died. It sounds more like death than a fade out to black would.)
