pj! I remember wishing one of your stories would be finished seriously about a decade ago. Amazing. I just tried an old password I used to use and amazingly got in too. Memories!

So beautiful. So sad and yet so promissing. I loved every word, every chapter, everything.

Author's Response: Thank you! I like to leave the promise of hope in my stories when possible. k

It was really Buffy visiting William. Sad to see Spike so heartbroken because of the missed opportunities know that he remembers. Then later Spike will be the only one who remembers but only think it will be dreams.
Oh I like that The pain you inflict upon each other will be like a fire to metal, make you stronger when that fire is removed. You will become a different person because of choices you will make, choices that will hurt others at the time. The person you become will be unlikely to hurt others in the future. William will cleanse his past and regain his sense of self. The best things in life come at a price.
Loved the end with the poem. And it is so open you could always write more ;-)
I enjoyed reading this.

Author's Response: Thanks hon. Yes it was Buffy really putting herself in William's dreams. The poem is one that always reminds me of them. K

William recognize Dru... he has dreamed enough of her to do so. ~ Bad Dru... make the memory of Buffy go away. ~ And so it begins.. and the chapter ended where William truly saw Drusilla for what she is (not so much his as he thought she would be).

Author's Response: Yes after Dru "fixes" his memory all he has is the dark princess claiming to be his destiny and that makes him want to embrace her and it. k

Mmmmm I wonder if Maggie's friend was human at all.... considering that vampires exists as William will soon know. Oh especially when the man in question doesn't have a family.
Oh and through Sophia William will be related to the Giles' family if Sophia hasn't the bad luck that her fiance will die.
Buffy is always ready to for with Dru for her William *g*

Author's Response: I used the one line Spike had in S4 about a cousin who had worse taste in men than Buffy. He said she had married a regurgitating demon. Yes, Spike would be related to Rupert through Sophie. Thanks. k

The more time goes by the more family members does William lose. I wonder if they really have enough money like his mother thinks.
I'm your biggest pain and greatest joy Yeah, nice put, that she can be.

Author's Response: Yes, Buffy was certainly the cause of his greatest emotional experiences, good and bad. k

William did only dream twice of Buffy now in all these years... and she won over Drusilla twice. ~ I thought maybe Cameron would make it to the U.S.A. but he died.

Author's Response: William had these dreams at the greatest turning points of his life. No, Cameron didn't have a chance to reform. k

If Spike only would be able to hear what Drusilla told him: ..has lost 'is Aurora...left behind the Dawn...
Only spring left 'till Summers is back though.

But Dru played with Spike's memories before, taking something away? Memories about a princess.. I wonder what Dru did take *reads on*
Ah little William dreamed of her. I like the thought that Buffy claimed to be his destiny.

Author's Response: Dru's ramblings often made a bit of sense if you really listened to what she was saying. Yes, she was predicting that Buffy would be back fairly soon. Buffy could get a better view of Spike and other things from heaven even if she didn't remember themn later. Thank you for your kind reviews. k

Lovely story. Maybe there could be a sequel?

Author's Response: Thank you. I might revisit this one day but too many other plot bunnies are demanding attention right now. k

This seems like it'd be good, I think. But it's VERY confusing. Seriously, I have no idea whats going on. The first chapter was the same way. After reading the Spike part like, 3 times, I got it. But then William showed up and now I'm just lost. Completely.

Author's Response: So terribly sorry you aren't able to make sense of it. Thank you for trying anyway. k
