Wonderful story! I really like it...and the last part with Giles and Fred WOW I wasn't expecting that to be the reason Buffy got her new(better) life.

What a great story to read in the morning before going to work! Loved the ending. It was so sweet and heartwarming. :-) And I have a sister named Deanna! That was a complete surprise since it is such an uncommon name. Hope you write more.

Just caught up with a few chapters. Are you going to explain what happened to Deanna in the Angel-dimension? Buffy's dealing because she has another version somewhere, but what about the girl? You can't just leave her as having been abducted - please!

So now she is in what would be her perfect world. She of course wants to be with Spike as well as her daughter.
I bet when she wakes up though she is back with Angel. She will go back and forth not knowing which life is real.
I hope the real Spike does show up.
I just read what you wrote So far. I'm intrigued. I can't wait to see where you are going with it.

I'm interested but I'm afraid that it is going to go back and forth between Spike and Angel all throughout the story. And I really can't stomach seeing Spike or Buffy with another person for long. So I don't know if I can read it if that is the case. But it is very interesting.

Buffy retreating within - yes, that's what she does. But who wouldn't with that guilt? I can't imagine. And you are being honest with Angel's feelings, too. He knows that it isn't entirely her fault, but part of him blames her. I think that's only natural, but it's hard to deal with, too.
