I didn't see that coming! I expected her to freak out the moment she realized he had his fangs in her neck! They managed to get their voices back and seemingly get closer.
Was that all that Dru meant by 'let go', or is there more? I know you won't answer that... Meh!
Loved it and really can't wait for more!

I liked the Slayer talk Buffy had with her mom a lot, but most of all liked all the Spuffy mind-chats!

Buffy knows her watcher well, he wanted indeed ask Joyce about Spike. And I think she's right about Spike not hurting Joyce; Giles should see that too: He could have done it already if he wanted to.
I wonder who should be risen (= the warning Spike got).
Even if they know that they will be able to speak again it's too bad that they can't now that they run into Angelus.

So I sat down and read this in one sitting and yup - you got me hooked. A wonderful plot sweety and things just seem to get more complicated for the unlikely allies, don't they. Can't wait to see what happens next, seeings that SPike recognizes the possibe source of his unspeaking state? Update soon sweets, i'm luving it. Hugs.

That one by Saber is one of my favorites; glad you enjoyed it too. And even more glad to see the update :)
I know that it a bad situation both Buffy and Spike are in now but it's fun to read :))
So Giles still doesn't trust Spike; but Buffy is right, Spike would never harm her family.
Looking forward if Spike will find something out now (demon).

Ah, so it is just the two of them. Even more curious now. And just who is in Spike's crypt, Angeulus, or Darla, or someone else entirely.? Will be awfully frustrating to Spike especially not to be able to talk back!

Wow. I really, really like this! I'm a sucker for a Spike and a Buffy that actually think for themselves and don't behave like programed robots.
I think your plot and character developments are nuanced, truthful, and brilliant. I'm tired of authors putting Buffy in horrendous situations and not writing them with the pain and dignity they deserve. Thankfully this is NOT one of them.
I know that in the end Angelus and Drusilla are probably going down and there will be spuffy. But I don't really care about the rest. I'm enjoying your imagination and clear, flowing style.
Eagerly awaiting more and just LOVIN' the ride.

Interesting. I liked the mindreading part. And the part where Spike tried to come up with an excuse for Buffy to leave Owen was funny. Really liked the update, keep the chapters coming! :)

Talking with Spike about what worried her was a good thing (the right decision).
Oh :-D I like their mind reading incident. I would love to read on but sadly the chapter is at its end. More soon I hope :) I want to know what happened and what Giles will say.
