I so love this story and you have adapted the characters very well so they seem more like Buffy and Spike.
I can't wait until Angel gets more into the picture and the agnst starts to build more. Love it. Please update

I loved this story and wnet to read more of it. I'm a huge Christine Feehan fan and I think she would be proud of this story because it's so much like hers but it still has the Buffy tang to it. And the charaters are all wonderful. This just might defintly be one of my fav stories . I just want to read more of it.

So cool! I like how Spike has powers. But I don't get this, Spike admitted that he loves Buffy, even if he doesn't know much about her (only that she's his mate). And after that, Buffy didn't give much of a response on how she feels about him.
Author's Response: Well yeah, if you've read the Carpathian series thats the way it is a lot of times... not to mention, in my opinion I made her a bit nicer about the situation than most of the female lifemates. Usually they give the males a lot more grief and are way more resistant to the situation. I mean, the females are usually independent, strong women and then this domineering male comes along to try to take over their lives... hello :P I mean, a lot of times I read it thinking I would so be beating the male in the head with something hard, lol. But, thats okay, I know a lot of the readers won't be familiar with the novels and I didn't want ONLY fans of Feehan to read, hence the nice little note with the first chapter. ^.^

I am SO EXCITED about this tale. I LOVE FEEHAN'S CARPATHIAN series and have read every one (and re-read several)! YOU ARE OFF TO A GREAT START on this. I've often thought of Spike and Buffy while reading one of the books - so glad you didn't make Spike all dark but left him to be different from most Carpathians. Please write very fast because I think this is my new fav fic and I'll need many regular fixes to keep my sanity. Thanks for coming up with idea and for sharing your talent! Carpathian + Spuffy = EXCELLENCE!
