That was so beautifully sad. You wrote what Buffy probably felt so well. The relationship between Spike and Buffy wasn't always beautiful and nice. But their relationship was real. I think that is why we are Spike/Buffy fans. Why the relationship of Spike/Buffy is so much greater than the relationship of Buffy/Angel. They been through so much together. All of that pain and hurt they put each other through is what makes them who they became.

I just love the relationship of Spike and Buffy.

That's exactly the reason why I love Spuffy so much - they're so great at hurting each other, because when it comes down to it, they KNOW each other, something that was never true of Buffy and Angel. And in the end, even though that shared history of pain was what kept them apart, it was also kind of a good thing, because it sort of shows you: look, they made it through all of this and they STILL love each other! How could they NOT be meant to be together after all of that? That's part of why I love the pairing. Thanks for the review!
