It's amazing how just a few kind words here and there, coupled with a slightly more thoughtful Spike would have made such a difference.
Don't suppose you fancy doing a 'resurrection' sequel taking into account Buffy's acceptance of Spike's feelings and their changed relationship?

I was a bit confused because I don't know which episode this chapter starts from but I think I have an inkling (I don't know the English titles, therefore).
Buffy was a bit worried what Riley did to Spike (the staking). And yay for Riley being gone :-D

The second one was cute too. Loved Spike trying to comfort Buffy.

i thought joyce had already passed away in the first chapter? what with buffy going to stop willow from spilling herself some god blood? now you're reversing the eps? i don't understand. after willow went to hurt glory, glory came after buffy dawn and willow and then the scoobs had to pack up and leave town. doesn't make sense.
Author's Response: Yes, you are correct- when I first wrote this, I planned on stopping at "That Look of Peace." However, since I posted that, I was requested to write more, so I continued in descending episode order. Once I have gone through s5 backwards (consider everything posted after the first chapter as a flashback), I will then loop around back to "Weight of the World" and "The Gift," ending there. Thanks for reviewing.

Colour me confused.... in chapter one Joye is dead ...in chapter two she's alive again? huh?
Author's Response: I'm working my way backwards- I started with "Tough Love," then right after "Intervention," "Blood Ties," and then "Checkpoint." Weird, but initially, I had only intended the ficlet "That Look of Peace," but I was persuaded to write more...
