I'm sorry I'm taking so long to update, but I've had Graduation reviews, graduation tests, and two jobs that have been demanding my attention- not to mention that I just got my first car! (yeah, I'm nearly seven months past 17 and I JUST got a car. Jeez.) And I have prom tomorrow night... hopefully things will slow down so I can take a break and write the next chapter for you guys. my sincere apologies.

Author's Response: No, he didn't. He really thought he'd gotten in! Teehee- blame it on his girth! Anyway, I apologize for chapter four taking so long to appear, but I've been super busy the past few days. My boyfriend came down from Atlanta and picked me up from school Friday, I was working all day Saturday, and Sunday was spent cleaning house. And this week I have to study for graduation tests, which are next week! Anyway, I'll try to get it done and up pretty soon. Thank you for reading this and supporting it!

Spike definately wasted NO time getting Buffy in the sack when he realized she wanted him that way.. I have a feeling..from your summary...that Buffy is getting ready to have her heart broken. Bad SPIKE!

Author's Response: *laughs* Thank you! I'm glad you think I did a good job! Yeah, sex is a major factor in the plot, and the dynamics end up hurting people alot- particularly Buffy. Like you, I lost mine a little over a month after my fifteenth birthday- and this story is based on my past experiences with my current boyfriend (there's a hint about the outcome of the story, but then, how else could it end? *wink*), so guess who had to suffer through that incredibly embarassing first, eh? Yeah- I still haven't mentioned the truth of it to Chris(my boytoy)... and I don't think I will! Thank you for reading, and I hope you keep liking it!

Loving the story so far. The scene was fine, it made me think of my first time, mostly 'cause I was also 14 lol... can't wait for more.

love the story.. great plot but fourtheen ?? Aren't they a little to young ?? I mean buffy says okay my first time let's go.. it just they are too young for me to read.. if they would have been 16 or 17 that would have been great but at fourtheen not so much..
Author's Response: Yes, fourteen is a little young, but some aspects of the fic are a little hard to mesh together accurately- like this, for example. See, the story is based on my history with the guy who is now my boyfriend (because it's my first time writing fanfiction, so I'm starting with what I know). BUT it's also the story of Buffy and Spike, going through all kinds of trauma to get to a happy ending. In my world, I lost my virginity one month and 9 days after my 15th birthday. But my birthday is on halloween. Buffy's is sometime in January, yeah? So I decided to keep the fic on the timeline of me losing my virginity (Dec.9) and just have Buffy lose hers a little more than a month BEFORE her fifteenth birthday. Also, technically my boyfriend is three months younger than me and lost his at 12 (way too young), but in this fic, Spike is a few months older than Buffy. So little details like that DID have to get switched around. I do realize that they are a little young, but so was I. By the end of the fic, they will both be 17 or 18, if that helps at all. Thank you for reading, and I hope that other than that little tidbit, you like the story.

I read the first two chapters today. The first one made a good start. I will definitely try to catch the updates. The second chapter was cute... a little sunbeam before the angst starts :) Good so far.

God I want to live in that house...only 14 and allowed to sleep in the same room...cool parents, mine would have grounded me for the rest of my life...they are sooo young...good luck with your fic, and thanks for updating very quickly....just a bit young for my taste,but, well written and I know there are heaps of fans out there of high school fics..:)

So..now I'm lulled into a sense of security with Spike and Buffy's friendship..but I know from your summary that Spike is going to betray Buffy. I am trying to prepare myself for that! lol
