I'm so glad you updated! It's good to see the benefit for the gallery went so well. And Angel and Cordy engaged was a surprise. Good for them. Good convo between Angel and Spike . It got really intense there for S/B...too bad Faith interrupted. I think Buffy is just gonna use him for sex, it doesn't seem like she wants to open her heart, and they both need to accept blame for the past.
Great chappie, can't wait for the next one. Please make it soon. =)

Another thing I hope Spike doesn't ask Buffy out. Buffy should be the one to ask him out. Why does it have to be Spike who has to be the grown-up one all the time. Hopefully, Buffy is finally an adult now and not some scared little girl and ask the man that she wants out. Something that she couldn't do before because she was a little girl who would rather run away then tell her supposedly best friend that she has feelings for him. I don't know why you are not making a bigger issue on this. Spike got dumped by his best friend and he believes that it is his fault. Buffy acting like she was the victim. Why doesn't Buffy realizes what she did. Why doesn't she realize how much pain that would have caused Spike. Why doesn't she realize how much hurt she would feel if Spike did that to her. Why doesn't she realize that she is the one who has to earn back his trust and a spot in his life. All she sees is her pain and the pain that could have been prevented if she was honest in the first place. This Buffy is so selfish. Who she cut out of her life without explaining herself. I'm hoping that Buffy finally gets a backbone and be the one who ask Spike out. Then I hope Spike says no because she has to earn back a spot in his heart before he takes a chance on her. That would be the way i would love to see it go. But if Spike ask her out then I'm going to be so disappointed.

I hate this Buffy so much. I hate her, I hate Buffy. Spike doesn't have to earn her trust she has to earn his trust back. But him being pathetic and just falling at her feet and kissing the ground she walks on. Buffy leaving him and cutting him off her life is something that I would never like this Buffy for.Her not telling Spike her true feelings in the first place because she was too scared. Such a little girl. I hate it that Spike is just falling at her feel thinking he did so wrong and Buffy is so innocent and did nothing. I was hoping that Spike was going to make it harder for Buffy to earn back HIS TRUST and earn back a spot in his life. Spike is too good for her and I hope he realizes that she was the one who did wrong. I know that Spike and Buffy will get together eventually but I was hoping that Spike wouldn't make it easy on Buffy. I'm disappointed that Spike is making really easy for Buffy to be apart of his life again. After she left him and dumped their friendship like it was trash. Oh Spike. Are we ever going to learn more about what Spike has been up to. If he was dating anyone, his job, or anything else excited with Spike. Angel already got engaged to Cordelia. That was really fast. It is no wonder why a lot of marriages don't make it. People get married without really knowing each other.

I liked this chappie, it seems that things are slowly getting better between them , even tho Buffy didn't tell Spike she still talks with Angel. That isn't too trustworthy IMO. And Spike had a really good idea, thank god. Buffy has to learn to open up to Spike more.

Mmmh three month? Then Buffy doesn't seem to really trust Spike. She never told him about the financial trouble she is in with the gallery or that the still has regularly contact with Angel, her ex. Not the best conditions to build a relationship with Spike.
Enjoyed the chapter though.

I'm trying to not hate Buffy so much but I don't think I will ever like her in this story. A part of me just wants Spike to say screw you Buffy and go back to Angel. I deserve better than you. Better than my so call best friend who just threw away our friendship. Go back to Angel because you are never getting any from me again. I would love Spike to say something like that to Buffy. Buffy should be the one earning his trust back and trying to be friends with him again. I just see Buffy as a big selfish bitch and I don't know if that will ever change. To me I don't get this Buffy ever really loved or cared for this Spike at all. Oh, I can't stand this Buffy. I did like this chapter though. . Isn't Spike so sweet and wanting to help Buffy. What a great guy Spike is. I also wished that I had a hot teacher like Spike when I was in high school. Lucky students of his. I bet a lot of teenage girls are swooning over Mr. William Giles at the school. Maybe even a few of the guys as well. LOL I still hope that Spike was getting some good sex too. He deserves to get some good sex. It has been four years. A hot and gorgeous guy like Spike would have been having sex. I would like to know who he was getting it on with during this time. Faith. Cordy. Anya. Fred. Somebody new. All of them. Maybe. I just know that Spike should be getting some good sex since he is so hot. I have mix feelings about Spike and Buffy being friends again. A part of me is happy. A part of me doesn't want Spike to have anything to do with this pathetic Buffy. It is bad enough that Spike was the one trying to apologize to her first and everything. While Buffy plays the hurt victim and says stuff like i don't trust you Spike. He really should have let her have it after that comment. I hate Buffy so I have mix feelings about Spike being her friend. Spike is too good for her. But there are many people out there who are with someone that are too good for them. Or that they are too good to the with the person that are with. Spike is one of those people that he is too good for Buffy. I love the banner

Sorry, to hear about what happened to you and your best friend. That is always sad when things like misunderstandings and miscommunications happen and it causes a relationship apart. Don't know the details of your situation of course. But it sounds like you guys spoke about it or at least argue about what is wrong before you both walked away. It is still very sad but at least you knew why and that you guys both walked away. Again, I don't know the details of your situation. So forgive me if I got it wrong. But with Spike and Buffy in this story and with my situation. It was just one person throwing away a very close friendship for years. Buffy (like my friend) never told Spike why she needed space. Before she left she should have told Spike that she lied about not wanting something more with him. And that she was in fact in love with him. But seeing that he doesn't feel the same way. That she needs space away from him. That is what she should have done. She should have been honest with him so that he knows why she just up and left. He deserves to know since they are best friends. She also should have given him a chance to say something. To talk to her and let him have his say. But she didn't. She just left to a different state. And made sure he couldn't contact her. She told him nothing. On why she could no longer stay there with him. My friend did the same thing. Different situation like I said but still stopped being my friend and didn't know why. That is why I have no love for this Buffy. I just don't see her loving or caring for Spike at all. Now, she is playing the hurt victim in this which makes me sick. I can't trust you Spike. Really Buffy, you can't trust Spike. When you left him and gave him no reason why. And I just see Spike crawling around trying to make it up to her. Trying to please her. When Buffy is the one who just threw him away. I see both sides too. I understand both sides too. I understand that Buffy was a weak and scared little girl. Who couldn't look her best friend in the eye after 14 years. And be honest with him and tell him why she was leaving. She was never honest with him. Like when Spike asked Buffy if she was jealous of Dru. She off offended and started talking about how Dru was using him. But she was jealous. At least a little bit. But she couldn't admit it. And she should have been honest. Reading Spike being the one to go to her. Being the one to apologize first. Being the one who is trying to earn back her trust makes me sick. Cause I really think Spike should tell her off on what she did. I know I would. But i know this is your story and you write the characters and all. But it still makes me sick to see Spike trying everything to be friends with Buffy. After she just left him without no reason. Spike is too good for Buffy and a part of me would love for Spike to give her the finger and tell her to go back to Angel. But this is a Spuffy story. Although, I hate Buffy right now. i don't know if I ever will like her in this story. I do continue to read because of the personal situation. And I am still interested to see what happens. Even if Spike is the only one crawling around to get Buffy back. It will get to me a little because Spike is too good for Buffy but I think I can deal.
