Buffy is doing his job a very long time? I think it started different then it is now. But we'll get to know her past I guess at one point.
Fourteen years old girls? If Parker did this he doesn't deserve it to be free. And he did it, is even proud of it.
So Spike's job? Not the same one Buffy has but still not a good one (that kind of work he does) even maybe a good paid one.
Good chapter :)

Ha! So Buffy's gonna go see Spike in his hotel room...excellent :-) And the Parker part...ugh. the psycho. Kinda sucks that Spike is gonna have to defend him--any chance of him changing his slimey lawyer ways? Love this fic, it's really well done. I'm on the edge of my seat here--more soon, please?

I absolutely love the conversation between Buffy and Angelus. I love that Spike actually called a whore. I see how this story is relating to the earlier attempt you made for it. I forgot what it was called, but if this one is like your first attempt, I think I know where the next chapter is goinggg!
Did any of that make sense?

that was sooo good! i haven't read the first version but this is really great...
a good plot seasoned with the right amout of sex is what i like too... this first chap of course deals more on introducing the leading characters and the setting, and you did an awesome job!
random thoughts:
i love your "control" buffy
is her dad a killer too? or maybe a cop? surely he is weapon-obsessed!
spike merely tolerating dru was... hilarious. i can't understand how he usually is head over heels for her!
i like how u described the wether in ny. i could feel the temperature changing...
buffy a "piece of heaven"? oh boy... you got it wrong!
