Title: Riding Roller Coasters and Falling Headfirst
Figured Riley was going to fall a little..for Buffy and that Spike would be upset.
Good to see that the B/S relationship seems to be more than a claim.. even by Buffy's standards..
Hopefully, Riley will stay away. I wouldn't want Spike to hurt him and upset Buffy.
Enjoyed.

I just hope that Willow can stay out of Buffy's business. I can forsee her trying to push Mr. Finn and Buffy together. I mean she just jumped at the prospect of them having dinner at Buffy's house. I wonder what is going to happen with Spike comes back. He has been gone for a little while and I don't know what to expect when he does return. I know that I can't wait to find out.

I really like this alt reality you've created here. It is a nice change from the Vampire Slayer stories, but it also remains in the same universe in some way.

I really like this story. I liked their conversation in this chapter, Spike is really being patient and Buffy although on the verge of hysteria seems to be somewhat accepting. I hope that the next step is that Spike moves in because the separation pains will get worse. Also what about the dinner party is that when the rubber meets the road?

Very good. Buffy feels trapped by all this, and in a way she is, and if you'r trapped you'r looking for a way out. Buffy's thinking makes total sense in her situation.

He could ask her out on a date, so they can talk and get to know each other.
Outside of knowing his name, Buffy doesn't know a thing about him like where he's from, his age, what he was like before he became a vampire, the circumstances of his being turned. Share what his likes, dislikes are, with her. Let find out what they have in common, if they're each others, other half, surely they are compatible and have things in common as well as things that would drive each other crazy over the years.
Author's Response: I appreciate this review and I'm so happy you are reading! Thank you for the feedback. I don't think I will have them go on a date, though I like the idea, I have some other things in mind. I will be having the emotions running high for both characters and the claim's powerful influence will play a part in forcing them to accept one another as whole persons rather than getting to know personal details about each other first, though the details will come in time, but maybe not in the order you're expecting. This fic is going to be slightly unrealistic to regular life, because it is a supernatural world I'm focusing on and the rules are often different in such stories, at least for this one they will be. I really hope you continue reading and that you enjoy where I take the story, thanks again for reviewing! *huggles* :)

Poor Spike with all his sublety of a sledgehammer, and poor Careful Buffy comfortable in her life mundane. Perhaps she needs Spike more than she thinks. I'd like to think so, and I'm so looking forward to finding out!
