Title: One-Shot
I had to read this when I saw the title. Being short & blonde myself, I appreciate the funny-bu-not-so-much side of ho;usehold up-keep. And why do the lunch plates have to be on the shelf next to the top?
(things on the actual TOP shelf do not exit for me).
Thanks for the giggle.
Author's Response: Hee, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm usually such an angst queen, but it was fun to do something a bit more light-hearted with this one. I based much of Buffy's struggles in the kitchen on my mom, who is a tiny lady of 5'1". She used to exclaim, "I need a tall person here!" when she couldn't reach. Between myself at 5'6" and my dad of 6'1", we usually could help her out :)

sweet and funny at the same time.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! Angst-queen that I am, this fic was a tough one for me to write. Turns out I can switch on the fluff when I have to :)

Very nicely done! The whole burnt out light bulb thing was brilliant.
Author's Response: Thank you! It was pure luck that I was able to think of an effective metaphor so quickly. The Fates must have been on my side Friday. It's really satisfying when you have certain fics that just flow, and I was lucky enough that this was one of those.

Aww...very cute. I wish it kept going. :)
Author's Response: Thanks. Glad you liked it. This is meant to be a fill-in-the-blank scene, so everyone should be quite familiar with what happens next =)

Author's Response: Thank you for the compliments. It's really just a matter of concept and execution. I constantly challenge myself with different pairings and scenarios to see if I can write them. It's most rewarding for me to see my personal growth as a writer and the easiest way for that to happen is if I experiment. Admittedly, I usually stay within genre. lol, I wouldn't go so far to say that fluff is my forte, but I was able to make it work here. I'll take my angst/smut anyday of the week =)

Lovely growth on a blond joke. Very cute. Hope Spike fixes that pipe, too. :) Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad the concept held up. And I'm sure Spike will get on the pipe right away. It got repaired somehow on the show.
