I just want to say that this was really well written and very in character. I just feel that the dialogue was excellent, made me feel like Buffy was Buffy and Spike was Spike.

Absolutely spot-on. How it should have been. Just them; all other intervention, man or beast surplus to this perfect requirement. They have it all: passion, friendship.... and so much love. A complete understanding of each other.

A lovely reunion story. I really enjoyed the flow of the story and felt that it was true to their characters, more so than the comics. I only read the comics early on and had to stop because I was so annoyed. They were rehashing old problems that had already been resolved during the show and going off to weird tangents. I just love how in this story Spike had been looking for her all this time. So sweet.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I always thought that Spike would've gone looking for her, especially after surviving what transpired in NFA. I don't see how he couldn't want to see her again. The comics are great for those who enjoy them, but it was no longer the voice of the characters I so love. Many disagree, and that's fine, but to me canon stopped at the end of Angel, season 5. I'm glad you enjoyed this reunion, and thank you so much for sharing this review! :)

I love the bittersweet quality of their reunion. Only Spike would have gone all over the world to search for her like that. All those years of just missing her but never giving up.
I've read so many reunion fics over the years that I didn't expect this one to affect me so much but it did. This special gem is just perfection.
