Well maybe there would be a 'demon' shrink like one for halflings or so; a person like that would have understood that Buffy is special and not mad.
Seems the others Scoobies are okay with Buffy and Spike being together (like Xander).

With the risk of sounding callous, Ben should die. He's the human incarnation of another dimension's hellgod. Sending him (and thus Glory) to yet another dimension might create an imbalance (and the First just looooves imbalances).
