Author's Response: Thanks for reading and commenting. Glad you liked it. I have no plans for a sequel, but I'm not ruling it out if at some future date I get an idea.

Author's Response: Thanks! This will never be a full-fledged story, but perhaps at some future date I'll get some inspiration for a sequel. There are just so many other projects that I'm developing that I'd rather work on. I don't usually write about sub/dom relationships and it took me out of my comfort zone, which I appreciated, but this sort of scenario does not inspire me in the same way my usual sexual angst-laden fair does. Never say never though. Could happen =)

I really like the touch of darkness and violence in your fics. It's very appropriate to this particular couple. Well-written.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the comment. Buffy and Spike live in a world of darkness and are driven by dark forces. It infuses who they are and colors their interactions to the utmost. Buffy holds herself in, in a way I think kinda similar to Angel. She has this swarming violence in her that she funnels into her patrols, but it taints who she is as a person, and Spike just loves to tap into that and release it. When they come together like this, it's a primal explosion of their most base selves, and it shows how much they really do have in common. This is a bit darker than my usual work, so I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed it.

Author's Response: Nope. It's a one-shot, and it was written as a one-time bday present. I don't generally write torture or fics where there is a sub/dom dynamic, but this scenario certainly leaves room to explore an AU season 5. DreamsofSpike did speak with me about possibly continuing the story after she finishes up 'Future Sins Past' though. So, perhaps there will be a collaboration in the future to continue the 'verse, or DoS will take it on herself.
