Spike holding Caitlin? Cute :)) They are so happy... that made the doctor telling Spike that Joyce was gone even more sad. Sorry to see she didn't make it.
Oh my and then the just even were able to escape, everything seemed all right again and BAM! Glory happened! That doesn't look good for them.

A heart-breaking end to Joyce's life, but very sweet the way the little family embraced baby Caitlin. And an interesting twist on the big vamoose out of town! I'm looking forward to more!

A nice morning after.. sleeping (waking up) in Spike's arms. Unconsciously she is trusting him or she wouldn't have been asleep.
Joyce didn't judge Buffy, she knows Spike is good for her. ~ OH my, they were running into Glory? And she knows Buffy is pregnant. Okay.. when Buffy is safe till the baby is born she is soon in danger again. Time did fly here.. looking forward what will happen with Glory.

Loving the story! It's been a while since i've read fan-fic, but this is the perfect stuff to get me back into it and addicted good and proper!
Can I offer a bit of grammatical advice, though? (And I hope this doesn't come across as mean or snooty). The semi-colon ( ; ) is something you use to separate two sentences that could otherwise be split by a full stop. So basically both parts of the text on either side should read as complete sentences.... So, for example:
"She spins and kicks him in the head; causing him to stagger backward into a headstone" - the semi-colon here should probably be a comma, whereas if you had "She spins and kicks him in the head; the vampire staggers backward into a headstone", the semi-colon would be better placed. In the original, the two parts of the sentence wouldn't make sense sense on their own if the semi-colon was a full stop... if that makes sense? Sorry, that's totally nitpicky! But I remember learning little tidbits like this really helped me in my writing, so....
Anyway, can't wait to read more!

I've always been known to go a little overboard with my semi-colons, my English teacher underlines them whenever I write essays, so actually, thank you for explaining clearly how they're really used [in a non-patronizing way too] =] Also, thank you so much for letting me know how much you're enjoying the story- it means a lot to me =) xx

The last moments of this chapter were gorgeous. As much as I hate to admit it, when I'm pregnant I'm just like Buffy. If I could smash a few heads, all the better. Looking forward to what happens next.
