Aha! The rescue is afoot! Again a riveting chapter from first word to last! This is an amazing tale. I would suggest a few tortures for Riley that I'm sure both Spike and Ripper would be familiar with but Buffy probably wouldn't approve. Can't wait to see how the 3 interrogate the interrogater! When I find them caught (the scoobies) I began to worry. But it went well till now - glad they were in time to save Dawn. Looking forward to the conclusion - what will happen with Riley (he deserves it), will Buffy, Spike and GIles escape too? When it's on, I'll read it. :-D

Thanks for the new chapter. It was nice to see Xander acting like a normal person. I hope that Spike will be rescued soon and that Riley will get his comeuppance. I hope this is the end of Buffy spouting off about how Spike is an evil vampire.

I'm so sorry I was eating dinner while reading that chapter. Wow, I hate Riley just because, but in this tale, he's diabolical! Great Chapter by the way, held me spellbound from first to last word (now if I can just keep the bile down long enough to review). Great story with such an original twist and That Viking stuff?!? Is that real history or did you make that up yourself (and if you made it up, let's never meet in person, OK LOL). Please update soon and RESCUE SPIKE VERY SOON - or give me a DO NOT EAT WHILE READING warning if he has to endure more Viking tortures! Thanks for sharing your (demented) talent for story writing. Author's Response: I'm so sorry Crystal, hopefully ur dinner didn't arrive for a repeat performance. The blood eagle is a 'myth' of viking lore and i actually researched ait before i wrote about it. I promise to rescue Spike soon

Like you I'm not a Riley fan - I kinda like that he's being portrayed as such a villian in your tale. I love that Spike staked Dru to save Dawn. Hate all the torture to Spike (but know you need it for the tale - plesae rescue him soon!) Love the Tale, Love the Writing. Thanks for sharing.

This is a good story. Although, I am no fan of Riley in this story he is a psychopath.

Interesting. I'm curious why Spike was protecting Dawn (the Key?) and Buff & all don't know anything about her at present. Riley seems to be a real wanker already and Graham with a bit of sympathy? I like that idea. Excellent start and I can't wait to read the next installment! Thanks for sharing.

I just noticed that this fic is different - Buffy does not know that Dawn is her sister (maybe she isn't in this fic) and Joyce don't know her. But Spike is protecting her and can send her messages with his mind. Really interesting. Looking forward for more.
