It's nice to read a Holiday fic that could easily be Canon. It evens out all the fluffy ones. Great ficlet.

 

 



Author's Response: Thank you so much, Abbie. Sorry for the lag time in a response to your review. However, I was not notified that I received your (and many other) reviews. As for the story, I agree. Many viewers/readers/writers wanted the relationship between Buffy and Spike to different than it actually was. I tend (my later stories) to stay as close as possible to canon in all it's heartbreaking, soul-wrenching glory. Thank you again for taking time to read, enjoy, and review my story.

Love the Christmas Story.. Spike as usual.. there for Buffy... for all the right and according to Buffy.. wrong reasons even though she loves it ..  I don't know how he does it..  He knows her all too well. And loves her no matter what..

Author's Response: Thank you, Pam! I'm so glad to still know you're reading and reviewing. So many people have come and gone. Yes, Spike gave and Buffy took, that pretty much sums up Season 6.
