Great in canon dialogue. This could have come straight out of an episode. I'd love to see this story developed more though...I want to see what happens next.

I never really felt that a chip was going to hold Spike if it came to his life. He is not the type that would let someone stake him because he didn't want to feel the pain the chip causes. So, I always felt that Buffy should be careful when it came to Spike to not threaten his life so much. Or to make him feel like he doesn't have any power. Not a master vampire like Spike. I always thought Buffy was kind of stupid for doing that But that is Buffy for you. Being a bitch and thinking that that is the most powerful thing on the earth. LOL I also think it is so cute that Spike loves watching Dawson's Creek and soaps. He is a different vampire alright. I just love that vamp. Great chapter.
