Really liked this story and the one that is previous to this one. I do have to say one thing is that they might have to worry about the First Evil in this one if they keep Buffy from dying when Glory came around. Giles and Anya found out that the reason the First was able to get a foothold in the world was because Buffy was brought back so if she doesn't die then that should cancel that out and the First wouldn't be around or at least not as powerful or allowed to bring in those 'uber vamps' so then Spike wouldn't have to wear that horrible necklace.... LOL

wow i absolutely luved this story! the whole overlord and master concept and how it worked was great. i also really liked how you dealt with travers, with spike doing what he had to do despite his fears.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! I know I tend to be hard on Xander (I'm so not a fan of his :D), but the story comes first and I write what it seems to call for. Here, when it's earlier on, he's not so inflexible and could change.

Glad Travers was killed. Glad Giles got on board with the new order. Still think it's funny for Buffy to be cqalled "Lord" by demons! Best part of this chapter to me was the crious demon asking Spike what he was going to do with Travers. Ugh! It would have been gross to drink Travers' thin blood.
Yay, Dreamweaver!But please write a sequel to RUNNING WILD.

Xander reminds me of my sister - not that she hates vampires, but she really is rather rude. Like Xander, she will not mind going to someone else's house and telling them how to behave. This is a fun read, Luv. Thanks for the ride.

This was fun! I liked Joyce's reactions; just right. Loved how "Red" took right to Spike. And drunk Giles was sooo funny. Next time you get him drunk, make him even MORE affectionate!
Author's Response: So far Willow has only heard not experienced Spike's dangerous side, so I thought she'd go by Buffy's reactions - and also Spike really is hot! And I had so much fun with drunk Giles. Next time he gets that way, I think I will. :D

I just loved this story! So, so good. I like this new world that they've made. And Yay!! For Spike killing Travers cause he never would have stopped. And now they have knowledge of what's to come so hopefully they'll be able to stop a lot of horrible things from happening. And as usual the sex was amazing and HOT....you definitely know how to write the smut. =)
Lovely sequel. I enjoyed it very much.

I just read this story and "Her way". They are absolutely fantastic. I really love the way all the characters evolve in such a way that makes sense when looking back at how they were in the beginning. I really loved how Spike were blown away by "the old" Buffy. I hope there will be a sequel to this. This is a Buffy world I would like to visit more

Of course, I really liked it! Your ability to tell a story well is amazing! This is actually my favorite series of stories. I know I'm always asking for sequels, but it would be interesting to see where you could take this. But if you feel that you're not up to it or there's not enough story there, this was a great way to end it!

Loved the first story and love this just as much. Glad to see the scoobies supporting buffy.
Certainly an interesting take on the demon lifestyles and cultures. I'd really like it if there were more sequels exploring everything a bit more - the bond, the demon world etc.
But totally loved the story.

Ah it was the Council. Or better: Travis working for his own. Good that he doesn't know all of Buffy's secrets.
And that getting Buffy back went well. :-D
Seems as if things (at last some of them) will get easier in the future when the Council will back up Buffy.
And even Xander coming around.. good thing :)
