I love it and really hope, that this is not the end...:)
Author's Response: I don't have any immediate plans for a sequel, but I might have a few thoughts jotted down... Thanks for telling me how much you liked it!

what a great story. I would love to see what happens next. You wrote Spike so well, I could feel my heart break for him, always thinking that he is losing out to Angel
Author's Response: Thanks for your kind comments! I would love to see what happens next, too! I hope something in the rest of S8 may spark a solution to the dire problem of miscommunication between our favorite Slayer and Vamp. What? It could happen!

OH MY GOD - that was outstanding! I have hated and resented the comics since they started because they are like a crazy nightmare and I keep waiting for Spike - I gave up on them long ago and was sooo tickled by your reference to them. I loved the whole concept and really want you to take this further - I want her to go after him! This was such a great twist on things - Thanks so much!
Author's Response: I very happy you enjoyed this take. It's a little bleak, but it does put the comics into perspective. I'm not sure if Buffy will make it into the bug dimension, but Spike will certainly make it out! She definitely needs to go after what she wants, though. It would be...therapeutic. Thanks for commenting!

You must have more of this!! I know it would serve her majesty right to have the gorgeous one walk out on her but . . . .
Author's Response: He's not walking out, exactly. He's...taking a breather. For a few months. Or years. Whatever. And she doesn't deserve it, she's just in a really dark place. (Heh. That's what the show writers always used to say to excuse her behavior in S6.) But really, Buffy doesn't mean to push him away. Not this time. It's just that he's heard the same thing so many times, that even when it's not what she's actually saying, it's what he hears. Sometimes they shouldn't say words.
