It would be interesting to find out what brought them together but we know it won't have a Spuffy ending and Angel's tongue down her throat is just...eww! Not to mention Harmony! *shutters* Enjoyed this though, thanks.

Enjoyed this story - good mix of ups and downs . Flashbacks can be a good way of giving back story without chunks of exposition slowing down the fic - you could have incorporated their 'first time' within this story doing that.
However sometimes its good to be short and sweet - this was certainly that. I tend to read only completed fics otherwise I'm always on the computer looking for updates or forget what I've read and lose the plot in the middle.
Keep writing - I'll be looking for future fics.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I thought about putting in little snips from their first time, but I really didn't want this fic to be very long. It actually ended up longer than I intended when I originally wrote up the outline. Buffy and Spike have a tendency to write themselves. I totally get only reading complete fics. I wish I'd do that sometimes - but I lack the willpower. :P Thank you so much for reading and sharing your thoughts with me.

*check* Buffy was with Angel, then not (whatever the reason was) then slept with Spike and got back to Angel. I think I got the time line right now except the part "seeing him all over another girl" but reading on now:
I'm glad that Spike came indeed back, bringing gasoline and something for breakfast. A lot much better then Angel seems to have been as a boyfriend. But Buffy paid for that, huh? With enough heartache.
I thought first Spike didn't want Buffy back; but at last he is accompanying Buffy a short way (to Texas). Maybe he'll decide to accompany her even longer.
