Oh, I tend to avoid end-of-life stories because I get so upset and sad, but I'm happy I read this one. It's heart-wrenching, exquisitely written, achingly beautiful. Poor Spike.

Author's Response: Hee! (I didn't see a thing) I don't think so. He's iived without her all these years and had a chance to say good-bye and hear that she never stopped loving him. I think he'll mourn, but he isn't going to great the sun over it.

wow that was so sad. It made me cry so much.. Living with Angel because they got into a fight, and yet loving Spike all those years.. having to settel with with second best..So sad. But still despite the crying I loved it.

Lovely. I, of course shouldn't have read it since I knew it was going to make me cry and I'm still always just once second from crying after watching that latest Torchwood. ;)
The idea that she spent her life with Angel but gave it to Spike....whew, yeah there are those tears again. whew. Really nice.
