I just loved this! I'm sorry that you didn't continue it further. But you've got a great premise, and I don't think I've seen anything like this before! Good human Buffy/vampire Spike stories are hard to find.

Hi! I don't know if you remember me, I wrote you some time ago to ask you if you were thinking about keep on writing your story Blood Child. You were kind enough to send me an email, thank you very much. I'm only here again to try to convince you this story is so good, it calls to me so strongly that I keep on visiting this site once a week to know if you updated. I'm sure you have a life, and can't write a story just because a lunatic from Spain is hooked on it, I'm only trying to encourage you to write... I can assure you I'll be here ready to read.

I love this story !!! You've captured Buffy's character voice so perfectly and had me laughing out loud several times. The plot is so interesting. Is it possible that Buffy is next in the slayer line but she is clueless about it? That would be hilarious. Love your Spike. He's exactly right. I know that this is going to be one of my very favourite stories ever, one I'll go back to again and again. Please update soon Can't wait to see what happens!

Good to see the update :)
The duel between Devil-Buffy and Sane-Buffy was fun. And I'm glad that Buffy doesn't only see the killing machine when she looks at Spike, she acknowledged that he is different, not a vamp like she thought he would be.
LOL and Spike heard Buffy in the bathroom even if he wasn't showing it. And his demon wants her too, not only his inner 'William'. But Buffy has to accept the claim..... and this isn't sure yet.
Spike's grandsire would be Angelus, so who was his (Angelus') slayer? Did I miss something? I don't think it was mentioned before. Wow, tricky.. Spike wasn't asleep. Would have been too dangerous anyway. And now playing twenty questions... could become interesting. (And Spike had three Slayers? That's different here too.) Good decision of Spike not to laugh about Buffy's name *ggg*.
(And the chapter was worth the wait, don't worry.)
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked it! Angelus's slayer was the slayer from Sunnydale that I mentioned in chapter one--in this story, set in a sort-of parallel universe where Buffy is not the slayer, there was a slayer in Sunnydale that basically lived out the life that Buffy had up to the second season. She fell in love with Angel, battled Spike, and then caused Angel to lose his soul--something that caused Spike to fly into a rage and kill her for (hence the third slayer) . Now he's on the run from Angel (newly re-ensouled and out for vengeance on his grandchilde) and has accidentally stumbled upon Buffy (who is, consequently, older than she would have been in the timeline of the series). I hoped I cleared that up for you, and anyone else who may have been confused! Also, if you're interested in Spike's thoughts on his third slayer, he has a bit of a rant about her about half-way through the first chapter :-)

I love this story! I read chapter 1-2 when I should have been getting ready for work, and I was soo tempted to call in late just so I could finish it. I think this story has so much potentional to go anywhere and i'd still be sitting on the edge of my seat. It's so exciting, and I love the way you've written Spike as such a passionate creature. The plot is very well written you've got me wondering on several things. You've written a verison of Buffy that I like, strong even without the powers and not whiny. There isnt one thing I'd complain about, except for the fact that I didn't find this story earlier and theres not a new chapter for me to read! Lol, please write more soon I'll be waiting!

So Spike took Buffy with him? Yeah, the sunrise and her still hurt (bleeding) is a problem. But Spike is right, his salvia could work. I wonder if Spike killed the clerk... yeah, he did, but not draining him. But he better doesn't tell Buffy that.
Bah.. Buffy's room back then in her home wasn't really hers. That's awful for a child or a teenager.
Hehe wake up to your very own man-pillow that's funny :) But then Buffy noticed when waking up that it was Spike, but she is still hurt.
Ahhh and Buffy noticed that Spike was as jealous about a boyfriend as he got because of Drusilla. *gg*
