Wow. Never really thought about how things could've proceeded from the bathroom to the crypt. I can totally see this happening. Love the part where he tells her he's a soulless demon, but his heart doesn't seem to care. Sums up pre-season 7 Spike quite well. Excellent little drabble. I really enjoyed reading it.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review :D Unfortunately, this is a one shot, and I've already done an AU s6, that may lead to an AU s7... we'll see- I have other stuff I have to finish, though. Thanks again ;)

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your lovely review :D But unfortunately...I'm sticking with canon- merely filling in the blanks as I see fit. Thanks, though :D Oh, but I did redo s6 in my fic "All the Way and Then Some," if you haven't read it. Definitely less angsty :D
