So Buffy had the feeling that Spike had left her and therefore she left? I wonder why Spike was that way. Nice twist with Warren. ~ Too bad that Spike doesn't remember what he said to Buffy the next day...
Author's Response: More details about their past together will be revealed in the coming chapters. Warren wasn't even in the rough draft of this chapter, but I watched a few eps of Season 5 this weekend and somehow, here he is. Thanks for reviewing.

Chapter seemed perfect, and double points for posting quickly. I am a little surprised that pretty much nothing happened, and Spike does not seem drunk enough to have forgotten what was said, but I guess we'll find out more soon.

spike acted like an ass because the writers love making spike look like an ass. and they love to make buffy the perfect one which everybody loves.
Author's Response: Spike wasn't supposed to look like an ass. And Buffy is far from perfect - she just dumped her wonderful fiance for her ex.
