Read what you said about people reading but not reviewing, and I've already reviewed this chapter but thought I'd give you one more for encouragement! This is already a really interesting story and I can't wait to see how it turns out. I've never been a victim of domestic abuse before but I definitely agree with opening people's eyes to it in whatever way possible. Great writing, hoping for more soon!

i have to say that i really like this fic - Spike is obviously in such a difficult positon. You really grabbed everyone's attention with Parker's rape, its not often you see something so graphic written like that if you understand what i mean, like in this context, without spike coming to save her or something. I like the french misunderstanding etc that makes it harder for them to communicate, on top of which of course she would find him hard to trust, i can completely understand her anger and betrayal at finding he worked for the FBI and didn;t help her. but i liked the end where she asked if he'd return, good segwey into opening a connection between them. i really hope to see more soon : )
