I love music. I can find at least one song from every genre that I absolutely love. I'm into History and Literature. Some of my other interests include writing original fiction & genealogy.

I think it was the Watcher's Concil. I may be wrong, but after this chapter, that's the way I'm leaning. But *why* kill Joyce??? What did she do to make them or anyone else want to kill her like that?

Hmmm. I wonder if John's decency is gonna run out? He has me worried now that Rosemary seems okay with Buffy.
It was good to see John and Ro alone like that. It made me care much more about both of them as characters.

Yes Dru will be causing a few problems. Insane, evil sisters can be such a pain in the ass. As for buffy, she doesn't see his kindness as anything but concern for his son. She hates him and feels she always will. He wil have to do a lot of good deeds to put a dent in the armour she's built around her heart.

Wow. Just wow. I'm so stunned at the twists and turns that I've missed! I've been out of town and I finally caught up on your fic. Not surprisingly, it is so wonderful and a real joy to read. Spike was awesome in this chapter - I know you said he wouldn't become a wimp, but I didn't see how you'd pull that off. But you did - brilliantly. This is such a wonderful tale.
Good luck getting your room ready for school - we've been back in for 2 weeks now and the kids are in *rare form* this year!

Author's Response: Welcome back. In a way it's kind of nice to be able to read a few chapters at once but I did miss your point of view as things progressed. As for Spike, yep, strong as ever. The curse will work two ways and the emotions that bombard him won't all matter to him. It's the mating bond and his attraction for Buffy that makes him care so much how she feels. As for school, let me know what age your monsters are. Mine are kindergarten. Let me tell you, the cuteness wears off by the second day but I love them. What a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting this update until Saturday, at the earliest.
I loved all the Spike/Enid interaction. And poor, poor Buffy. I'm so interested to see how she'll react to him after all that's happened (the rape, nearly freezing to death in the water). And also how he'll act towards her once she regains her strength. Great update.

Author's Response: I'm actually not back yet. The kids start after Labor Day here. I've just been working my ass off trying to get unpacked and ready the new building for the school year. It's a disaster area but my classroom is perfect now. I have pre schoolers too. I've had 4 year olds all my life but got switched to 3's this year. AGH!!!!! I know I can do it. It will be fun but.... I'm used to more learning and less play and such. Okay, no more rambling. Glad you liked the update, yes Spike and Enid's relationship is a strange one. As for Buffy, it will take time. Hey Suzee! I've been gone all summer, but I'm back now. I'm finally catching up on all my Spuffy fics and let me just say *WOW*. I love this fic - even if I do want to smack Buffy every now and then. :) I get the whole hating herself thing because when I was a teenager (which wasn't *too* long ago) I went through so many months of really hating myself. And she's been beaten down so, its easy to see why she thinks so low of herself. Can't wait to see what you have in store next chapter. Have a great weekend!
