I'm a college student - originally loved the show, but stopped watching season 4 and then came back season 5. Loved Spike and came to love the whole series and understand it better beyond the obvious popularity of the first 3 seasons. I guess it's important to mention that the Spike and Buffy relationship was the thing that helped hook me back in ;) Color me convinced that Spike and Buffy are meant to be! I've been a fic reader since 2002 or 2003, and I'm a new writer as of Jan 2005. I love reviews - they are what keep me writing, so leave them!

Oh have Buffy tease Spike about the body swap! Even if it's not important, at least just for a bit? lol. I think you did a good job in balancing out Faith's character - she's often too snarky and full of sexual comments etc etc, but I liked where you drew the line :) Where's Spike? Am I hallucinating or was Buffy supposed to go to see Angel and take Spike with her - i'm guessing this is a detour? ok, I'll shut up and wait now...

And the curtains close! I smile when I look at your over 1000 number :D Ashlee: Queen of Reviews! lol. I've already said this before, but your fics just keep getting better! And they're already good! I liked how you paced your Spuffy at the beginning of this because the angst just made me want to read it more. All the twists you threw in were wonderful. I encourage your continuing improvement, as long as you still enjoy writing it! A sequel would be very interesting because now they have a baby in the works, but don't worry about it for now unless someone gives you a stellar idea. Also, don't feel pressure to make all of your fics long - I sort of appreciate the shorter ones too. They're all good in their own ways, but don't feel like now you have to continue off of Whispers. If you ever need any help with ideas (though I doubt I'm useful at all), then you know how to reach me ;) Give yourself a pat on the back - you've done a great job!! *hug*

Just wanted to let you know your story's very cute :) I like the setting and the bar and all that - the only thing I would comment on is that they seem to be falling for each other really fast...I think it's like their second date right? I don't doubt that it's possible, but maybe you could include some more relationship development. Hopefully I encouraged you and not discouraged because I wouldn't want you to think I don't like the fic - it's really enjoyable! Keep up the great work!!

Author's Response: No, they never really talked about it. This was such an impulsive move on Buffy's part and now she's going to have to face the consequences of her actions. However, consider this...if Spike stayed in Sunnydale, permenantly? How long until his family considered him the new Holden of that town?
