Another fantastic chapter, sweetie! So packed with action, romance, little hints, and deeper mysteries. For instance, what is it about her desires that self-proclaimed woman-of-the-world Buffy Summers is afraid to face?

I suspect that Slod is going to be trouble, later...

Author's Response: I think part of Buffy\'s problem is that she doesn\'t know her own heart. She\'s action girl but she\'s not udnerstanding what her actions are showing, you know? Thanks for the review!

I love this. Buffy's interior monologue is delightful, and the whole interaction with her on the back foot is great. Very "Cookie With a Vampire": very educational, although she's not really getting the most helpful lesson our of it in the end. Great work!
