I missed this story so much. Its one of my favorites -- I just love this idea and you've told the story so well. I can't wait to see how this continues. I hope they get the happy ending they deserve, this has been so hard for them. Nice to see her take care of him for a change (from the show anyway). Hurts too much, gotta escape the pain, won't risk getting hurt again. Poor girl. She needs some help. And she isn't going to find it with the safe guy, the guy she only sort of likes. Rather have the highs and lows of passion than the mediocrity of indifference. *sighs* I hope she stops being skittish soon. And gee, wonder how she's gonna sleep now that Spike won't climb into bed beside her anymore. Hah! here's to cutting off your nose to spite your face. Silly girl. Poor Spike -- his frustration and anger were clear as day. This is gonna be a bumpy ride. I can feel it. Good work.

Oh just lovely. She's in that land that ain't just in Egypt and he's trying to make her see the light. And she goes ansd says the one thing to throw him off. Brother my ass. You don't get all tinging and short of breath from someone you think of as a brother. Well, not unless you're a bit . . . well nevermind. Anyway. great interaction there. I like this chapter and I love this story.

That date? between Riley and Spike was great. . . coz Buffy was just going thru the motions and the two really there were Spike and Riley. You know Balula, I might actually be willing to lisen to your point of view if you could actually write proper English.; as it stands I'm not even going to comment. This story is as long as its going to be, as many words as it needs to be and as many chapters as it takes to get the story told the way I want it told. If you have a problem with that, perhaps you shouldn't be reading it. If that's your only criticism, that the story is too long, then I'd say I'm doing exactly what I set out to do. To tell a story at my own pace. I'm really sorry if that doesn't fit with your schedule and/or life. Perhaps a different story and/or author would better suit your requirements.

Whole lot of UST going on . How did she put it? Spike kissed her like he fought -- with everything. Oh yeah. Love that description. I like the uncertainty also. . . is ths Elizabeth and William or is this Buffy and Spike?. . . nice way to show the differences between the two pairs of lovers. And yeah, I'm sure they are gonna get there, after all, they are stuck in a romance novel. Anya, kicking up her heels to sit back and read. . . now if we could only get her to keep quiet about what she's reading, then our favorite couple will get lucky.

Nice work with Cordy, like the interaction between the pair -- and I like how you pointed out she cared about him even though he'd managed to kill Wes and Fred. I loved the scene between Spike and Buffy when they realize how strong he is. I'm glad -- because a weak Spike just doesn't work. Willfully blind Willow. Good lord. And nice confrontation between Buffy and Angel -- and how bloody stupid is he? Thinking that telling Buffy about that day would make her see that Spike being human was somehow bad. Poor Spike -- regretting what is his reward for all the world saveage. Nice chapter, and oohhhh can't wait to see what Connor is pissed about.

Nice twixt on the Connor issue -- that his "parents" were really W & H plants. Also, nice use of Buffy's thought processes. About time she did some serious thinking about Angel. Also, she had to put him to rest -- their relationship anyway. While she may have loved him, he probably never really loved her. Can't want to see what and when Buffy realizes about Spike -- too bad she thought they have moved on. . . real love doesn't move on so quickly. Hopefully she'll dump Morty soon.
