Summary: Buffy + Angel get back together and Riley acts like the moron he
is.

A Correct world or Riley dies

Riley was walking down the road humming to himself the song that never ends.
‘Yeah, I’m so cool I’m a big tough initiative leader with
a great girlfriend’ On his left shoulder was a taser and he was heading
to the graveyard. Entering the graveyard he saw a couple making out. Going
up to them he interrupted them “excuse me it’s very dangerous here
at night.”
The blonde girl sat up straight doing up her shirt and her partner followed.
“Buffy!! What are you doing here?”
“Hi Riley, this is Angel and I’m patrolling.”
“Don’t you know that patrolling is dangerous without any weapons
or a big strong man like me to take care of you.”
Sighing, Buffy replied “I have a stake and Angel is here for back up.”
“ Who is he?” Riley finally noticed the tall dark guy standing
next to her “is he your brother?” Buffy shook her head looking
slightly disgusted at the idea. “okay then he must be your cousin, because
I know you would never be so dumb as to cheat on a wonderful man like me.
Is your family always so friendly? And it must have being so bad for you
when your shirt buttons popped and you fell on him.”
Angel looked at Buffy with a look as if to say ‘where did you pick up
this moron’ Buffy shrugged, “Riley, Angel’s not my cousin
or my brother, he’s my soulmate.”
Riley burst out laughing “you almost had me there , it’s almost
as good as saying you were marrying that Spike guy.” Angel glanced at
Buffy bemused and she replied under her breath “Spell of Willow’s,
remind me to *not* tell you later.
“Riley, I’m not joking. I’m being serious I love Angel and
have missed him for every day we were apart, I’m sorry we’re
over.”
Riley looked confused, then smiled again “I know you’re not breaking
up with me because everyone loves me.”
“Riley, I don’t love you or even really like you.”
“Yes you do, I know you are my soul mate, come with me Buffy.”
And he reached out with his greasy hands to clutch her
“Ooo, gross get your hands off me like now.”
Faltering Riley stopped “you, you really don’t like me?”
“That’s what I said.” Buffy said coldly walking into the warm
protection of Angel’s arms.
Riley looked distraught at this and ran away crying.
“Beloved, why on earth did you go out with that idiot?”
“you left me in case you have forgotten and Willow wanted me to move
on.”
Looking incredulous Angel stated “To that?!”
“Yeah Riley’s a freak, but we have better things to do then worry
about him, especially since the curse is no longer valid.”
Holding her closer to him Angel replied “Yes we do.” As he leant
down to kiss her.
Angel and Buffy lived Happily ever after ‘cause Buffy was immortal and
they both got very happy.
Willow stopped meddling in Buffy’s life.
Riley, well Riley died a slow painful death, after being hit by a car driven
by Spike, while he was running through the Sunnydale streets with tears streaming
down his face, like the wuss he is.
