FAQ

How long has this site been up?

The site began in a very small way in October, 1997. It was simply an episode guide and has grown from that. I learned HTML as I went and eventually, the site became what it is now.

How many people run this site?

The site is run, by me and me alone, an 18-year-old high school student. I do all the webpages, moderate the message boards, take care of all the e-mail and whatever. Of course that is with the help of all the people who e-mail me and keep me informed, and those like Maureen, who does the quote lists. And yes, I still have a life outside of Buffy though.

No, really. Who are you and how do you know this much information?

Honestly, I'm not connected to the show. Through my site, and people who have visited it, I have managed to make several connections with important people who run magazines, newspapers, the Buffy books, music groups that play on Buffy, and some of the cast and crew. I have no personal connection to any of the Buffy cast or crew and will not use my connection to them to feed messages from other fans. I'm not any one of them, nor have I met them.

Where do you get all your spoilers?

This has got to be the most popular question I get. My spoilers come from all over the place. Mostly from people who e-mail me, or from several anonymous sources which I won't reveal. I just do my research and check with as many people as possible on a spoiler before it's posted. E! Online, and Entertainment Asylum are a couple of the webpages I visit to get information. I absolutely hate spreading false rumors so unless I can get some shred of confirmation, it won't be appearing on the site. If I'm going to be spoiled, I want to be spoiled with the correct information and not some crazy rumors fans try to make up to sound like they know what they're talking about.

How much does it cost to make a webpage?

This webpage is on a server belonging to Hosting4Less.com. It is not free, and not cheap, but for my site's hits and bandwidth, they were the best offer I could find. If you want your own www.address.com, you're going to have to pay for it. There are, of course, other sources where you can get free websites like, Geocities, and AcmeCity.

I want to learn HTML, but I don't know where to begin.

HTML is actually the easiest programming language you'll ever learn (if you learn more than one) and it's crucial if you want to have a good site. You can't rely on webpage editors for everything. (Not that they're bad, but to have good site, you gotta know a few codes, at least.) I learned from a book HTML for Dummies, and from studying other webpages. You see something you like, check out the code and see how it's done. HOWEVER, this doesn't mean you copy the website. Learning a specific code is one thing, copying the entire webpage code is another. It's illegal. Don't do it.

Who is Sarah/Nick/Aly etc. dating?

My view on this is that anyone's personal life is personal. If they don't talk about it directly to the press, you won't see it here. We have no right to know whom they are dating any more than they have a right to know stuff about us. If the information is made public (such as David's marriage to Ingrid) then it will be posted. Other than that, it's none of my business and therefore you won't find it here.

Where did you get this picture?

While the sources for my pictures are credited at the bottom of every gallery, this question isn't exactly answered because you don't know what pictures were from where. Right now I'm working on a Credits page which will list all of the pictures in my galleries and state exactly where I got them. This will take a while, and that's why this has yet to appear. ( : Until then, you can e-mail me the picture's name and gallery location and I will tell you where I found the picture.

Will you send me some Buffy information or pictures?

No. The whole point of my site is to provide information on the show and the whole point of my image gallery is so that I don't have to send out pictures. Uploading takes a long time, which is not something I have a lot of. If you want pictures or information, use the site. (:

Can I use pictures from this site on my own?

Yes, of course you can. BUT, I'd appreciate credit. I do credit all of my sources at the bottom of each gallery page, but a good majority of the pictures have been scanned and edited by me. For anyone not familiar with graphic editing, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour to edit out lines and scratches on a picture and I only like to do it if I do a good job. So it takes me a while and that's why I want credit for my work.

Why do you put the TBC&S label on all the pictures?!

I wouldn't have to if people actually gave me credit for my work, but they don't. So, from now on I have to put the site label on the pictures that I work on. It may not be fair to you, but if people would say where they got their material instead of taking the credit for themselves, I wouldn't have to.

Why don't you have those pictures up in the gallery?

When my site first started, I was working on two screen name accounts with AOL. The site has since moved to a couple bigger locations, but a LOT of older pictures got left out of the galleries because I didn't have room for them in the initial galleries. Over time, you'll see me recover some of these pictures from the depths of my computer records, or scan them from magazines and post them. I don't want the galleries to be repetitive so I may only use the best pictures from a series of poses that are almost alike. I do draw a link though on the types of pictures that are posted here. If a picture is just not appropriate for all viewers, it won't be posted (i.e. Charisma's layout from Stuff magazine.)

Even though you can't post them on your site, can you send me sounds and transcripts?

The answer to this will always be NO. Whether I have them or not, I will not send them or post them anywhere. Those of you who have sites that contain these items and haven't gotten caught yet, best of luck to you cause Fox is ruthless. I want to keep my site up and running and if it means cooperating with Fox, then that's what I'm gonna do.

Got a question that should be added? Or just a question that isn't here?
If you can't find it anywhere else on the site, e-mail me. ( :
