| A/N And again I say Happy Birthday TAM! The last line was added by Betafish, so you got a little gift from him too. Thanks to Steph and Copykween who both took a look and said it was good. Safe She wants to know how I killed the other two slayers. Goin’ as far as to offer me a nice bit of dosh for my story. I knew something was wrong with the girl when she pinned me to the wall. There was none of her usual bone crushin’ pain behind the move and she had the lingerin’ scent of old blood on her. Some nasty got a taste and has the chit runnin’ scared. Why else would she come to me? Of course, I’ll tell the insufferable bint what she wants to know and more besides, but can’t be too obvious with wantin’ to keep her safe. She’d bloody well think I was up to something if I gave over too easy. I guess I’ll be following her more closely from now on, just so this doesn’t happen again. Can’t let her go around gettin’ hurt, a man needs his peace after all. |
