| Two days later… As Spike made Buffy’s chocolate birthday cake, only one thing was on his mind: Buffy thought he was long haul guy. She loved him enough that she wanted him to be the one she spent the rest of her life with. He had made it through the past few days by constantly thinking about it. He couldn’t help, but smile every time he looked at her. Buffy walked into the kitchen and wrapped her arms around him. “What are you so happy about?” she asked. She already knew, but figured she might as well ask anyway. He shrugged and said, “Why shouldn’t I be happy? You love me, our guests are leaving in five days, and we’re having a party tonight.” “Okay, do we need anything else from the store?” she asked. “No, but I wish we didn’t have anyone else in the house.” “Why? Other than the obvious reasons, I mean.” He momentarily abandoned the cake. He leaned down towards her and growled, “I would love to bend you over the counter and taste you. You’re much sweeter than any cake. Because of these damn guests I can’t do that or touch you. Dawn and jr. have a habit of walking in at the worst possible moments.” Spike suddenly noticed that her eyes had glazed over with lust and she was breathing heavily. He could smell her arousal. “To hell with the guests,” he said happily. He fell to his knees and lifted up her skirt. She didn’t resist. He was pleased to see she wasn’t wearing underwear. His tongue delved into her center. She gripped the island counter top and bit her lip to keep from crying out. He licked small circles around her clit, never touching it. She became almost mad with need. “Please,” she whispered, “I’m so close!” Then Dawn walked into the kitchen. Fortunately, the island blocked her view of Spike. “Where is Spike?” Dawn asked. “He went to the store to get something. He’ll be coming back in a few minutes. You could wait outside for him,” she said breathlessly. Spike noticed that she had become even wetter when Dawn walked into the kitchen. He slid his tongue into her slit. She gasped. “Okay…is something wrong?” “No,” Buffy said, “I’m fine.” “Ooookay, see ya.” She walked out of the kitchen. Spike chuckled against her. The vibrations increased her pleasure. “So,” he said, “The idea of getting caught makes you hot?” “Shut up,” she said blushing. “Glad to.” He sucked her clit into his mouth. She threw her head back in a silent scream as waves of ecstasy flowed over her. Her legs refused to continue supporting her and she fell. Spike caught her and pulled her into his lap. He murmured sweet nothings into her hair as she came down from her high. “How do I compare?” she whispered. “To what?” “Cake.” He chuckled again. “There is no comparison,” he said, “You taste much better.” ~*~ Spike snuck around the front of the house. Dawn was on the porch. When she looked the other way, he silently stepped onto the porch. “Hi, bit,” he said. She jumped. “Said earlier that you wanted to talk to me about something?” “Would you mind picking up a few things for me?” he said. “I thought you were just at the store,” Dawn said. “I need you to pick up my presents for Buffy. I don’t have time to do it. I need to set up for her party. If you go, you can have fifty bucks to shop with at the mall.” “You’ve convinced me,” she replied, “What am I getting?” “I need you to pick up the sword I ordered at the store near the Magic Box. Then I need you to pick up the necklace I ordered at the mall,” he said. “What kind of necklace is it?” “It’s a lindy star sapphire, in the shape of a heart. When light shines on the necklace you can see a little star in the center.” “Cool…um…Spike…could I possibly have more than fifty bucks? You see there’s this really nice leather coat I wanted to get Buffy and I don’t have a present for her yet….” Dawn trailed off. Spike handed her seven hundred-dollar bills. “You can have two hundred of it. Buy yourself something nice as well.” Dawn threw her arms around him. “You rock!” she exclaimed. “Thanks,” he said, “Remember: don’t tell Buffy.” “I’ll be back in an hour.” As she walked off, all she could think was, I hope boyfriend is as awesome as Spike. After Dawn was gone, Spike walked into the kitchen and said, “Um…Buffy, would you mind if my friend Clem came?” “Is he the demon with the skin issue?” she said. “That’s him.” “Sure, no one at this party is going to care tat he’s a demon,” she said. “Thanks, love.” The doorbell rang. “It’s probably Anya and Xander.” Buffy opened the door. Sure enough, it was Anya and Xander…and a friend. “Buffy, this is our friend, Richard, why don’t you show him where he can park his car,” Anya said. Xander was standing behind both of them. He was frantically mouthing, "Not my idea." Spike stepped into the hallway. “Hello, Richard,” he said, “I’m Buffy’s boyfriend, Spike. Nice to meet you.” “Hi,” he said nervously. Buffy ignored him. “Xander,” she said, “Could I talk to you for a moment?” She steered him into the kitchen. “Why is he here?” she said. “Anya was like Buffy would enjoy having orgasms with two males. And then she invited him here.” “I don’t want him here. There are going to be four demons at the party. That will cause too many questions,” she said, “Besides, Spike might kill him because of how he’s looking at me.” Xander grinned. Then Richard stepped into the kitchen. “I have to leave in an hour. I have work.” “That’s too bad,” Buffy said as sincerely as she could, “Why don’t we all go listen to music in the living room.” “Great idea,” he said beaming at her. They walked into the room. Spike snagged Buffy around the waist and pulled her into his lap. “Possessive much?” she said grinning. “You know me,” he said. “Don’t eat him.” “No promises.” ~*~ “Bye,” Buffy said, “It was nice to meet you.” “Yes, we’ll have to see each other again some time,” he said, once again, beaming. When he left, she collapsed with relief on the couch. “’m glad he’s gone,” Spike said sitting down next to her. “You were no help,” she snapped, “You kept hinting that you would eat him.” “I didn’t like the way he was staring at you,” he mumbled. “Still,” she sighed, “And the party hasn’t even started yet.” “It’ll be fun, pet. Don’t worry.” She leaned her head against his shoulder and for a moment, the world was blissfully silent. |
