Love's Bitch
By VampireLiebe
Sequel to 'Bad Girl'. I had a request to write a sequel where the Scoobs and Angel find out about Spike and Buffy's relationship and this is the result. Hope it doesn't disappoint!
Spike stood in the shadows watching the Slayer enter the Bronze with her friends and frowned, deep in thought. He drew on his cigarette and then stamped it out on the ground, cursing himself for being here. He had deliberately stayed away from the girl to try and sort his head out. He was fine while he was away from her - snapping people's necks and guzzling their blood fine - but as soon as he was near her and could touch her sweet skin he was lost. It just wouldn't do. He was tired of being love's bitch.
'This has got to stop,' he muttered.
***
Buffy danced and smiled with Xander and Willow on the busy dance floor, trying her best not to look for a familiar bleached blond head and failing miserably. She hadn't seen Spike in days and she was so confused about her feelings for him. Sleeping with your immortal enemy probably wasn't the best Slayer thing to do and Giles would more than clean his glasses if he ever found out - but Spike was just so sexy and dangerous. And it was the danger that held her enthralled. She liked bad boys, which was not of the good. For instance, why hadn't he shown up recently? She bit her lip and wondered if he had finished with her like he said he would and it was back to the killing? It surprised her at how much that thought hurt.
Angel appeared beside Buffy and she quickly hid her disappointment.
'Hi,' he said.
'Erm, hi,' she answered and smiled, suddenly determined to have a good time tonight. To hell with Spike anyway - he of the not showing. Angel may be cryptic guy, but he was still good looking.
'Dance with me!' She said and he did.
Neither of them noticed Spike on the balcony above, his blue eyes narrowed with hatred at Angel and his jaw clenched tightly with anger. The Poofter should stay the hell away from his woman.
***
Spike strode furiously back to his hideout and kicked a few objects about.
Dru appeared out of the shadows,
“Ooooh,” she said in delight, “Daddy’s angry.”
She floated towards him and rubbed against him like a cat, “I like it when you’re angry. It leaves marks for days!”
Spike looked down at his Wicked Plum and wondered when he had stopped loving her, “Leave it, Dru,” he muttered warily.
Dru suddenly hissed and reeled backwards. She shook her head and clawed her face,
“No, no…it’s all wrong!” She wailed.
Spike became contrite, “What’s wrong, princess?”
“You!” She snarled, “I can smell her on you – I can smell the Slayer on you.”
Spike opened his mouth in shock and then recovered, “I don’t know what you’re on about, Dru. I haven’t been near the Slayer.”
(Not for days.)
“Liar,” she spat and began to circle him, “She’s all around you – in your blood, in your heart, in your head. You crave her.”
“No!” He denied vehemently.
“Yes,” she suddenly said quietly and sadly, “There’s no more room for Princess.”
Spike watched a blood tear escape Dru’s eye and trickle down her cheek. He felt terrible, because what she said was true. But that didn’t mean he had to accept it.
“I’ll kill her Dru. You’re my woman – my little nest of vipers, my…”
“Enough!” She said, holding up her hand.
“It doesn’t work like that, my William. You no longer love me from eyeballs to entrails and Mummy’s very cross.”
Spike jumped instinctively back as Dru suddenly sprang at him, vamped out. Her yellow eyes, twisted features and clawed hands made her look extremely feral.
Spike had to admit he was a bit scared. Dru obviously meant to kill him and her insanity gave her an edge. That and the fact she was an older Vampire.
He vamped out and faced her,
“It doesn’t have to be like this, Dru.”
She giggled hysterically, “Oh, but it does. I won’t let that nasty Slayer have you. It’s much better if you’re not here.”
She lashed out quickly and Spike wasn’t aware of her moving until he felt her talons rake his face.
“Ow! Bloody hell, Dru.”
He fended her off, not really wanting to hurt her, but she gradually increased the strength and regularity of her attacks and soon both Vampires were punching and kicking each other.
Dru punched Spike hard on the jaw and he went flying across the factory, landing awkwardly on his side. He felt a couple of ribs break and yelled in pain.
Dru sauntered towards him, “Tsk, tsk, my Spike. Not so noisy. You’ll wake Miss Edith.”
“Sod, Miss Edith!” He growled and staggered to his feet. He held his side, pretending to be more hurt than he actually was. Hidden in the sleeve of his duster was a long splinter of wood. He watched Dru draw nearer to him through lowered lashes. When she was about a foot away, he suddenly moved.
Dru looked down in surprise at the splinter sticking out of her heart and then exploded into dust.
“Sorry, Poodle,” Spike said to thin air.
He had just killed his Sire, which was a major Vampire taboo and he was stunned at how little he cared. Dru had been the love of his undead life and he had done anything for her – until the present Slayer had come along. This “Buffy”, a pint-sized tornado of a girl, who had turned his world upside down. He would sort things out between them, but first he had to let his broken bones mend.
***
Buffy came in from School and ran up stairs, only to hear her Mother call up behind her,
“Buffy?”
She turned on the stairs, “Yeah, Mom?”
“Where’s William these days? I haven’t seen much of him lately.”
“Erm…”
“Oh, dear. Have you argued, Honey? I’m sorry I asked….”
“No…we’re just taking a break from each other. He wanted me to concentrate on my schoolwork for a while,” Buffy lied.
Joyce smiled, “That’s so like him. He’s so thoughtful.”
Hardly, thought Buffy and carried on up to her room. Once inside, she grabbed Mr Gordo and cuddled him to her, lying in a foetal position on the bed. Spike hadn’t contacted her in days and it was breaking her heart. She wondered about telling Willow, but decided against it. Everyone thought she still had major crushage on Angel and she supposed dancing with him last night had encouraged them to do so. But it was Spike – evil, bleached haired, bad boy Spike whom she’d fallen in love with.
Buffy turned towards the window and suddenly noticed a note beside her on the pillow. Frowning she picked it up.
It simply said:
The Robertson family tomb 8pm.
She bit her lip. It must be from Spike. It certainly wasn’t Angel’s handwriting. What did he want? Maybe just to talk, but on the other hand it could be a trap. She may be in love with him but the Slayer in her was wary. She would dress to impress and take weapons in case.
***
Spike paced the floor in the Robertson family tomb, impatiently waiting for his little Slayer – that’s right, she was his and she had to face facts about them.
Buffy cautiously entered the tomb and stood staring at Spike’s back. God, he was gorgeous.
“Hi, Spike,” she said softly.
He whirled around at the sound of her voice and immediately grew hard at the sight of her in a black leather mini-skirt and blue boob tube. He nearly forgot about yelling at her for dancing with Angel, but then he remembered and stepped menacingly towards her. He stopped mid-stride, when she rushed towards him however.
“Oh, Spike. What happened to you?” She asked, full of concern.
Spike had forgotten what his face must look like. He could still feel the scabs on the gashes from Dru’s talons, as well as bruises here and there.
“It’s from Dru. She tried to kill me because of you.”
“Who’s Dru?” Asked Buffy, immediately jealous.
“She was my Sire.”
“Oh,” said Buffy and reached out a hand to lightly touch his face.
Spike shivered at her tender touch. This lethal killer of his kind could turn him to mush just by a caress.
Buffy suddenly realized what Spike had said, “Was your Sire?”
“Yes. I had to kill her. She knew how I felt about you and tried to kill me because of it. It was self bloody defence.”
Buffy’s eyes softened. So he did feel something for her!
Spike pulled away from her, wanting to be strong. He wasn’t ready to declare his love yet.
“I saw you with him the other night,” he growled, remembering why he was here.
Buffy had flinched when he shook free from her touch,
“Saw me with who?” She asked confused.
“With the Poofter. With Angel.”
“At the Bronze?”
He nodded, getting angry now he pictured her dancing with him again.
“I didn’t see you.”
“Obviously,” he said and closed in on her.
Buffy took a step back, worried at his sudden change in mood.
“It didn’t mean any…anything,” she gulped, “It was just a dance.”
Spike grabbed her by the waist and pulled her to him, “You’re mine and I want you to tell Angel and your friends that we’re together.”
Buffy opened her mouth in shock. Was he insane?
“I c..c..can’t. They wouldn’t like it.”
“What!” He bit out, grinding himself against her.
“They wouldn’t understand,” she tried to tell him; beginning to lose herself to the inevitable passion he arose in her.
“Then make them. If you don’t tell them, I will!” He threatened and then kissed her hard.
Buffy sagged against him, returning his kiss with fervor. He had said the magic words. He had said they would be together.
“Okay, I’ll tell them,” she said huskily, her hands reaching up and pushing the duster off his shoulders.
“Good,” he said, before devouring her mouth again.
His hands pulled her top down, revealing her bare little breasts with the nipples already hardened.
“You wore no bra for me?”
“Ah, huh,” she nodded.
“Good. Mine, all mine,” he growled possessively as his hands massaged her mounds roughly and his fingers tweaked her nipples hard.
“You will never dance with another man again – and definitely not with the Poofter!”
“No,” said Buffy as she threw her head back and closed her eyes in bliss. She loved his mouth on her breasts, the way he licked and teased each nipple, before sucking and biting on them with just the right amount of pressure.
“Oh, Spike,” she cried.
Spike finished suckling her breasts and pulled back. He span her around and pushed on her back so that she got the hint and bent over the stone sarcophagus in front of her. The cold stone on her breasts and stomach was a relief to her hot, flushed skin.
Then she felt Spike lift up her leather mini-skirt and rip her thong away.
'Those were my favourite!' She protested.
'You don't need them around me, girlie,' he said and thrust into her already slick channel. He heard her gasp in surprise at the speed in which he was taking things and then heard her moan in pleasure.
Buffy felt his strong hands on her hips as he pulled her back onto him, impaling her further and she helped by thrusting her bottom back at him.
She was so engrossed in the glorious feeling of him thrusting in and out of her that at first she was unaware of his fingers lightly caressing her bottom, before one finger slowly inserted into her tight, puckered opening. Spike quickly lubricated his finger with her juices before returning to her anus and thrusting his finger in time with his cock in her pussy.
Buffy screamed with pleasure and could feel his finger rubbing against his cock through the thin walls. Her cries reverberated around the tomb and Spike finally roared as he shot his cold seed into her.

Buffy nervously opened the library door and found everyone waiting for her. Today she was going to tell them about Spike.
“Good afternoon, Buffy. I'm glad to see you were able to finally pry yourself away from whatever pressing engagement you had and grace us with your presence,” Giles said pointedly.
'Erm....yeah. Go me with the presence gracing. I'm sorry I'm late.'
'Well no doughnuts for you, Buffster,' said Xander greedily biting into his second.
'She certainly shouldn't eat any if she wants better skin,' said Cordelia.
Willow was determined to shut the girl up, 'How was slaying last night?”
Buffy slowly sat down, “Well, actually I have something to tell you all…and I know you’re not going to like it, but we’re in love and I have to tell you….”
“We know about Angel, Buffy. Duh!” Interrupted Cordelia.
“Yeah. Not so keen with the vanishing act he pulls, but we know you’re sweet on him,” added Xander with a mouthful of doughnut.
Willow smiled, “It’s o.k., Buffy, Angel’s a good guy, even though he’s a Vampire.”
Buffy bit her lip and frowned.
Giles took off his glasses and looked at the girl who was fast becoming like a daughter to him.
“But that’s not what you wanted to tell us, is it, Buffy?” He said concerned.
“No," she said quietly, “I’ve been seeingSpikesince Halloweenanditjust sortofhappenedbutnowwe’reinloveand….”
“What was that about Spike?” asked Willow.
Buffy bowed her head,” I’m seeing him. I’m in love with a Vampire and that Vampire is Spike, not Angel!”
“Merciful Zeus!” Exclaimed a wide-eyed Xander, chunks of doughnut falling out of his mouth, “How? What? Who?”
Cordelia looked dumbfounded but didn’t say anything.
Willow turned eyes full of hurt at Buffy, “How come you didn’t tell me?” I’m your best friend – or supposed to be!”
Giles put his glasses back on, “I don’t understand you, Buffy. How did this happen?”
“It happened on Halloween. Spike found me and erm…things h…happened.”
“What kind of things?” Asked Willow and then blushed as she understood, “Oh…those kind of things.”
Giles looked stern, “You mean you’ve been lying to us?”
“Yes,” squeaked Buffy and looked at them guiltily, “But I didn’t mean to. I just did. I thought I could stop seeing him, but I’m in love with him.”
Giles slammed his hand down on the desk causing everyone to jump, “You’re the Slayer. Your job is to kill Vampires, not sleep with them. We only associate with Angel because he has a soul. Spike is evil – beyond redemption. You must kill him.”
Buffy’s lip trembled and her eyes filled with tears, “You don’t understand. He loves me and k…killed his Sire because of me!” She sobbed.
“What was that?” Asked Giles.
“He killed his Sire.”
“Drusilla!” Breathed Giles, “I thought she was dead – killed by a mob in Prague.”
And yet she had obviously been in Sunnydale all of this time.
“You say Spike killed her?”
'Yes,' sniffed Buffy, wiping her eyes, 'She found out how he felt about me and wanted to kill him. He killed her in self defence.'
Giles frowned, 'This may change things.'
'How can it?' Asked an incredulous Xander, 'Evil, remember?'
'Be quiet, Xander,' said Giles, 'I'm thinking. Maybe if Spike loves Buffy as he says he does, she will be a controlling influence on him. I need to speak to the Council about this. Buffy, you should go home and wait until I get back to you.'
Buffy nodded and slowly stood up, 'I'm so sorry, guys. I didn't mean for this to happen....'
'Let me come with you,' said Willow gently. She may be hurt that Buffy hadn't told her anything about this, but she realized that Buffy needed someone to talk to now.
Giles watched as the two girls left the library and frowned. He was damn sure this was a novelty for a Watcher.
***
Buffy sat with knees drawn up on her bed, telling Willow everything. The red head listened without interrupting; merely opening her eyes in shock every now and then.
'.....And then he said I had to tell you and Angel about us or he would do so.'
'Oh,' said Willow finally. 'And does Angel know/'
'Kinda not,' answered Buffy, 'What do you think will happen when I tell him?"
'Mostly I'm thinking, he'll kill Spike.'
Buffy bit her lip, 'That's what I'm afraid of - although I'm not sure who would win in a fight. Oh, God, Willow, I don't want either of them to be hurt. I love Spike, but I still care for Angel in a first major crush and now a friend way.'
'You have to tell Angel though, or Spike will.'
'I know. What a mess!' Buffy sighed and then looked up, 'Please don’t hate me, Will. I really am sorry for not telling you.'
Willow gave a half smile, 'You can't help who you fall in love with.'
***
Buffy made her way around the cemetery half-heartedly. The worst Vampire in Sunnydale was currently sleeping with her and so she didn't expect any trouble.
Suddenly her spider senses tingled and she recognized Angel. She whirled around,
'Angel.'
'Hello Buffy.'
She lowered her stake and fidgeted, 'I..erm...I have to talk to you,' she blurted.
Angel smiled, used to Buffy's babbling.
'I've been seeing Spike!' She said quickly.
'What!?' Cried Angel, clearly not believing what he was hearing, 'What do you mean 'seeing?'
'I'm dating him...I'm in love with him.'
'No, Buffy! Please tell me this isn't true. What has he done to you? Put some kind of spell on you?'
'No. And he loves me, Angel.'
Angel laughed derisively, 'Is that what he told you? Spike's an accomplished liar and killer. He likes to toy with his victims first. He doesn't love you. He's using you....tricking you.'
Buffy stamped her foot childishly, 'He does too. I know it's not a conventional relationship in a conventional sense, but I'm not a conventional girl. I love him Angel and you have to accept that and leave him alone.'
Angel began to pace back and forth
“I will not leave him alone!” He growled before he simply vanished. Buffy bit her lip. How did he do that? Then she panicked. She had to warn Spike.
***
Unable to locate Spike, a despondent Buffy returned home. As she climbed up into her bedroom, strong arms pulled her against a hard chest.
“There you are, my little Slayer,” purred Spike and kissed her deeply before letting her go.
“Spike,” she said breathlessly, “I’ve been looking for you. I wanted to warn you.”
“Warn me of what, pet?” He asked with his trademark smirk.
“That Angel is after you,” she said worriedly, “I told my friends and Angel today.”
Spike raised a scarred eyebrow. The Slayer had actually told her friends about them and sounded worried for him. He never thought this would be possible.
“Don’t worry about the Poof, Luv. I can handle him.”
“Oh, Spike. I just wish everything was alright,” She sobbed and wrapped her arms around him.
Spike looked down at the beautiful girl clinging to him and his undead heart flipped.
'It will be, Pet. It will be.'
Buffy looked up at him, believing his words and wanting to be loved.
'Make love to me, Spike,' she begged.
'Gladly, Luv.'
They tore at each other’s clothes in frenzy and stumbled, kissing to the bed. But it was with slow deliberate caresses that Spike made love to Buffy, eliciting passionate cries and capturing them with his mouth.
Outside in the tree Angel watched and cried the blood tears of a heartbroken Vampire. He could see the love clearly on both of their faces and was jealous of his grandchilde. But he decided not to do anything about it and would leave Sunnydale instead.
***
Giles closed the library door, leaving him alone with Buffy.
She bit her lip nervously, “So…what did the Council say?”
“They were not that surprised and said a Slayer had done it before.”
“Oh,” said Buffy, “And did it …er..end happily ever after?”
“No,” replied Giles gravely, “She had to kill her lover.”
Buffy’s face fell and Giles was quick to reassure her,
“But Buffy, that doesn’t mean to say you’ll have to. Knowing Spike killed Dru makes me certain that he loves you.”
“And I love him, Giles. I’ve never felt like this about anyone.”
“Well, you are only sixteen…”
“Yes, but I think it’s the ever lasting kind.”
“We’ll see. In the meantime we’ll welcome him into our circle.”
Buffy smiled and then hugged Giles, causing him to get flustered.
“Thank you, Giles!”
“Yes…well..erm…”
“The Council will want to be kept up to date on things and will take over if they suspect any likelihood of Spike reverting to his true self.”
“What do you mean?” She asked suspiciously.
“They’ll have him taken out Buffy, in case you can’t do it.”
Buffy nodded, “I understand and suppose I have to accept that.”
Then she left the library with a spring in her step. She had just two more hours of school and then she could snuggle up in Spike’s arms.
The End.
