Part One:
In the aftermath of Buffy's death, the Scoobies, with the aid of
Spike and the BuffyBot, take up the Slayer's duties to keep evil--and
Hank Summers--at bay. After Giles departs for England, Willow and
the gang attempt to bring Buffy back from the dead. Demon bikers
interrupt Willow's spell, and after the gang flees, convinced they've
failed, a newly-revivified Buffy claws her way out of her coffin.
Part Two:
The Scoobies flee ransacking demon bikers, Spike protects Dawn,
and a traumatized Buffy wanders the hellish landscape of Sunnydale
until she meets her friends, who are horrified when they realize
they abandoned Buffy in her grave. After defeating the bikers, Buffy
runs away and is drawn to Glory's tower, where she reunites with
Dawn. While Dawn is overjoyed to see her sister, Buffy is plainly
not happy to be back in the land of the living.
