Wess and Gunn are eating chinese food with Fred. Cordy walks by. Fred is under the table eating. Wess invites her to come out from under the table. Cordy walks by again, and tells the guys she is fine. Gavin Park comes in from Wolram and Heart. Wess tells him to get out. Angel walks in. Gavin explains all the violations Angel's hotel is in, and leaves. Cordy has a vision about demons with claws. She gives the guys the info and goes into the bathroom. As Wess is asking her about the demon from the other side of the door, she lifts up her shirt to reveal five claw marks across her stomach.

Pt I

Fred is looking in the phone book for herbal shops. The guys come in are getting ready to go. Cordy is in the bathroom and has deep scratches all over her body. Before they leave, Angel goes to check on Cordy again. Cordy comes out, still standing in the doorway being careful not to show any of her marks. He asks her if the visions are getting worse, and she says she is fine.

In the car on the way to the herb shop, Angel is worried about Cordelia. They get to the shop and ask the old woman and old man about the coin in Cordy's vision. They turn ninja, and show their claws. They all fight, and the old people are defeated. The coin is around the old man's neck.

At Wolfram and Heart, Lila is in the office. She runs into Gavin. He says he has been moved into Special Projects, and looking into Angel Investigations.

At Cordy's apt, Cordy is playing “ready for bed.” so Fred will leave. Angel had asked Fred to watch Cordy until he calls. Cordy is trying to get her to go, and she is pushing Fred out the door. Then, Cordy has another vision and falls to the floor. Her face breaks out and becomes bumpy.

Pt II

The guys are at Cory's apartment, and she is telling them about her vision. She says there is a key involved. They are looking at her face, and the physical effects the visions are leaving with her. Cordy shows them the deep scratches on her. She doesn't understand why the “Powers That Be” are doing this to her.

In the living room, the gang is brainstorming. Fred mentions that they might be able to find out where her visions are coming from. Wess tells Fred and Gunn to go to the hotel. He tells Angel to go get the key.

Gunn and Fred go to the hotel, and they are guys in there, exterminators they say. Gunn tells Fred to go get the books, and then he makes them explain. Angel arrives to Cordy's apartment to find Lorne getting ready to find out where the visions come from.

In Lila's office, she is hiring a new guy. He then sits at a table, and starts meditating. He rises and takes off his hat. His brain is exposed and he is sending Cordy a vision. Lorne is thrown across the room. Cordy starts shaking violently, and ends up with burns on her. Back at Lila's office, the guy sits back on the table and smiles at Lila.

Pt III

Cordy is resting and Lorne is able to tell the group that is not the “powers” that are sending her visions. He tells them to start looking at their enemies. In Lila's office, Angel appears. He gives her the key and the coin. She tells him that they need him to do a mission and they won't stop with Cordy until he completes it. Lila tells him they need him to save an “innocent” man.

At the hotel, Angel is talking to Wess. Wess tells him that the objects they got were from the good guys. The key and coin are used to travel to another dimension. Angel knows that he is working against the powers of good for Wolfram and Heart. He goes on the mission, anyway. Wess activates the key, and Angel tells him to take care of Cordy.

Angel arrives in a fortress, and goes down to where this man is imprisioned. He meets Skip, and they have a nice talk. Skip asks if he can talk Angel out of it. Angel says no. They start fighting. He defeats Skip, and releases the prisoner.

Lila is waiting with two limos, pacing. Angel, Wess, and Gunn drive up with the prisoner. He tells Lila to make Cordy okay. The guy with the exposed brain undoes what he did to Cordy. Wess calls Fred at Cordy's apartment to confirm. All her manifestations go away. They release the prisoner.

Lila thanks him, and they get ready to leave. Angel throws a steal rod that kills the brain guy. Angel tells Lila to never come at him again through Cordy.

At the hotel, Cordy is making Angel breakfast. Cordy says that what he did was amazing, and self – less. She is worried about what they let loose on account of her, and Angel assures her that they will cross that bridge when they come to it.

Now, we are in Honduras, where Darla has gone to see the Shaman. He tells her there is nothing he can do for her child. This is something that was never meant to be. Darla suggests its time to go see Daddy.
