Angel is teaching Cordy fighting moves. At Wolfram & Heart, Lila goes into her office and Gavin is talking to a man named Billy. Billy disappeared for three days, and his family has been worried about him. Lila tells Gavin to leave but he doesn't. Into her office walks a Congressman, coming to pick up his nephew Billy. Lila tells him to leave again, and then Gavin starts giving lip to Lila, and brutally beating her up. In the building, we see Billy walking with a smile on his face.

PtI

At Wess' house, the gang is hanging out, and Wess and Cordy are talking. Wess is gazing at Fred and Cordy picks up on the fact that Wess wants to get to know Fred better. She suggests next time he invite Fred over, not the whole gang. Cordy suggests that he tell Fred how he feels when she starts having a vision. Her vision is of a man attacking his wife in his store, a murder that happened a week ago. Back at the hotel, they have paperwork on the murder that happened. Supposedly, a man murdered his wife because she wouldn't stop talking. They are looking at the pictures when they recognize Billy. Billy is the man that Angel released from hell to save Cory's life. Cordy is freaking out, and feels completely responsible for what has happened. Angel tells her that he would do it again if he had to. Angel goes to Lila's apartment and bangs the door in. She is sitting in the dark, having a drink. Angel asks her if she knows that her boy is on the loose. Angel knows that Billy has some kind of power that causes men to abuse or kill women. She tells him Billy never touched her, and Angel can't touch him. Lila steps into the light and he sees her eye is swollen shut, her other eye is black and her face is messed up pretty bad. Billy is Congressman Nathan Blim's nephew, the family is close to royalty. Lila tells him to stay away.

Gunn, Wess, and Angel are at Billy's home. Angel jumps over the gate and goes to confront Billy. He breaks a front window, and enters into the house in front of Billy with no problem. Billy says he doesn't hurt women, he just likes to watch. The police show up to take Billy in for questioning. Billy touches the policeman's arm, and his hand is imprinted onto his skin. He is taken away. In the squad car, the policeman starts in on the policewoman who is driving the car. He tells her to pull over, then starts beating her up.

PtII

At the hotel, the gang finds out Billy was taken into custody because he had given a tip for the police to find the body of a woman. She had been missing for three days. Angel decides to go to the police station. Fred rushes out and tells them there's been an accident and the police car carrying him never made it to the station. The policeman started fighting with the policeman, and she was forced to shoot him. She was taken to the hospital. Wess, and Gunn go to the scene, and devise a plan. Gunn will go to the hospital, while Wess checks things out. Angel is there too. Him and Wess find a bloody handprint on the wall. Wess takes a bag and lays it over the handprint so he can analyze it. Angel takes off to find Billy.

At the hotel, Cordy is stocking up on weapons and has a taser gun. Fred lets her know that she shouldn't go after Billy herself, but she goes. Wess comes in and Fred helps him analyze. Cordy goes to Lila's place, and asks for her to fill her in about Billy. Lila is still drinking. Lila asks why Cordy is there, and not Angel. Cordy tells her that her and Angel feel responsible, and Lila who is actually responsible feels nothing because she is a viscous b****. Lila explains Billy brings out primordial instincts in men that make them crazy, and Cordy asks why Billy didn't do it to Angel. Lila snickers, and says that his effect could take minutes or hours. Cordy tells Lila about how she felt when she was being hacked away with those visions. She explains how helpless she felt. She tells Lila that no b***** would ever stand that feeling.

Angel is walking up to another incident, where a cab driver beat up a woman. The onlookers are going on about how she had it coming to her, and Angel grabs one of them and pumps him for information. In another part of town, there is house with a pool table where people are hanging out. Billy comes in to greet his cousin, Dillon, with blood on his face. Dillon is completely shocked, because he thought Billy was dead. Billy wasn't supposed to come around his place. Back at the hotel, Wess is looking at Billy's blood cells through a microscope. They both deduce that his power could be in his touch. Wess starts asking Fred where Cordy is, and Fred starts faltering then tells him she went out. Wess starts getting testy with Fred. He says if she lies again, there's going to be a problem.

PtIII

Fred starts walking away, and Wess demands she sit. He decides there is something they need to discuss. He tells her not to wear provocative outfits anymore, and telling her she's begging for "it". He is starting to go crazy. He rambles about her wanting to humiliate him, and slaps her. She tries to run outside, and Wess grabs her and throws her against the stairs. He ends up in front of the weapons cabinet. Angel shows up at Dillon's place, and lets him in when Angel tells him he's determined to kill him. Dillon explains there are rules around Billy, and wonders why he invited him in. Dillon explains that there was a girl there who said that a melodramatic guy would come looking for Billy. Angel is stuck on the whole melodramatic bit, trying to say he's not, when he realizes Cordy was there and grabs Dillon, demanding where she and Billy went.

At the hotel, Wess is looking for Fred by checking all the rooms in the hotel and has an axe. He comes to a locked room, and breaks in. Fred is hiding under the bed. Wess figures it out, and grabs her by the throat. She fights and runs. Cordy shows up at an airstrip, and finds Billy. She announces she is the woman Wolfram & Hart tortured to get him out of hell. She uses the taser, and says she's gonna send him back. Back at the hotel, Fred is running again when Gunn covers her mouth and grabs her. Back at the airport, Cordy has a arrow weapon pointed at him. He claims she doesn't have the nerve. Angel steps in and pushes her back. He is going to fight Billy himself. Billy reaches up and touches Angel's face. His hands leave marks.

PtIV

Gunn barricaded them in a room and Fred tells Gunn how Wess lost it, and about Billy's blood. Gunn touched the handprint downstairs, and they both realize that he will go crazy too. He starts taking the barricade down and Wess starts beating on the door. Gunn is trying to figure out another plan, then starts in on her too. At the airstrip, Angel tells Cordy to leave. Cordy begs Angel to fight it, and Billy is trying to urge it on. Cordy tells him she won't leave. Angel starts in oh her but its a facade. He hits Billy.

At the hotel, Gunn breaks off a chair leg and begs Fred to hit him. He starts yelling at her and she hits him twice. He is knocked out. At the airport, Angel and Billy are still fighting. Cordy retrieves her weapon and aims it at Billy, then gunshots go off and Billy is dead. Lila is holding the gun, and walks away. At the hotel, Wess finally gets into the room and finds Gunn. Wess sees her, and she apologizes. She knocks him out with a fire extinguisher, and he falls down, knocked out.

Angel and Cordy are training again, and discussing why Billy's touch didn't affect him. He theorizes it's because whatever Billy brought out, he had lost a long time ago. His demon makes him less petty, and noble. Wess is sitting in his apartment, and Fred knocks on the door. He can't look at her. He is so sorry about what he did to her. He can't deal with the fact that he tried to kill her, and Fred tells him he is a good man, and to come back to work. She leaves and is walking down the hallway. She stops because she hears Wess crying.
