England 1764. Holtz is galloping through a field with men. Angel and Darla knock on a door, and a little girl opens it and invites them in. Holtz and men are setting fire to where they think Darla and Angel are at. Meanwhile, they feed Holtz's family. Holtz finds their note and rushes home. Now in present day, Darla is lying in bed and Angel walks in to check on her. He touches her belly. She asks if he's gonna kill it or should she?

PtI

The demon is catching Holtz up. The demon mentions that his fate and the vampires are entwined. At the hotel, Angel and Darla are having a conversation. The gang walks in to consult them about the prophecies. They speak about the Troklan again which is a confluence of events, not a person. Angel asks the gang to help protect his child. Cordy consents after she punches Darla.

Lila is at the office working when the mailboy comes in. At first he starts hitting on her, then he hands her a CD of her and Angel making out on his table. He leads her to Gavin Park's operation where he has planted Angel's office with bugs. Gavin is watching Angel's hotel as she comes into the video room. Lila recognizes Darla and makes a phone call. Darla is having contractions. They discuss options. At Wolfram & Hart, Lila, Gavin, are talking to Lynwood are trying to figure out what's going on. In another room, the mailboy makes a phone call. He says what they has been foreseen has arrived.

PtII

England 1773 - Holtz is at home when the demon joins the room. He offers to help Holtz kill Angel and Darla if in return Holtz give his word to show them no mercy. Holtz agrees. Angel brings Darla into the hospital in a wheelchair and they go to a room that has equipment. Her contractions stop. She had false labor. Holtz is impatient, and the demon tells him to wait. The demon changes his face into a human face and tells Holtz they're gonna go look for help.

At Wolfram & Hart, there is a room full of people. Lynwood kills one of their psychics because he didn't foresee Darla's pregnancy. Lynwood is telling them they need to get the baby and dissect it. He tells Lila she will be blamed if they fail. A man is meditating while he gets called. In the hospital, Wess is doing an ultrasound, and tells them it's a human boy. Fred brings to their attention that they are surrounded by vampires. The leader starts worshipping the Miracle Child.

PtIII

The demon is showing Holtz the town. The demon's name is Sajan. He takes him to a demon arena, where demons with big tusks will be his army. The cult leader at the hospital announces they are there to protect the child, kill the humans to nourish the child and the mother. Darla is happy she is gonna eat, and not join the gang fighting the vampires. They demolish a ninja guy that jumps in. At Wolfram & Hart, they are deploying a swat team, and have a doctor versed in paranormal obstetrics.

At the hospital, the cult informs Darla that after they kill the humans they will cut her open. remove her entrails, and consume her eyeballs. Darla decides to join this fight. Fred grabs Darla and points a knife to her stomach, but her plan is foiled. She whispers to Darla that the cult doesn't know that she won't hurt the baby, and Darla tells her they do now because vampires have excellent hearing. The gang defeats the cult and head off. At the hotel, the swat team is moving in and the doctor is there with cages. PtIV

The gang is driving away. Angel thinks they should get out of town, and Wess says that they need the scrolls from the hotel. Angel decides to stop there. Holtz walks into Wolfram & Hart's operation. At the office, the head guy orders to kill Holtz. Their video cuts out so they can't see what's going on. Angel parks the car close by the hotel. He walks in to find swat men laying dead, and destruction all around and sees Holtz. In the car, the gang is waiting for Angel and Darla's water breaks. She is going into labor, and they prep her to deliver.
