Angel is putting money into Connor's piggy bank. Cordy is holding the baby and Fred is putting together a website for Angel Investigations. Cordy tells Angel that she is glad that he is providing for Connor, but they also need to not lose sight of the mission. Angel has been making sure Angel Investigations is advertising. Wess and Gunn come back from posting flyers -6,000 in fact. As they are waiting for phone to ring, a guy in trouble finds their flyer and gets a pizza place as Fred asks if the right phone number is on the flyer.

PtI

Wess comes in from posting 6,000 new flyers with the right phone number. Wess and Gunn are watching Fred with Connor. Gunn is admiring Fred, and Wess is admiring Connor. Angel mentions that right now making money is their number one priority, and so is finding Holtz, and helping the needy is their second and third number one priority.

Holtz is talking to Justine about his plan and has put a screwdriver through her hand. At the hotel, they are flooded with people and new cases. There is a group of Nadras that needs Wess to solve a puzzle - Lorne interprets. Gunn is talking to a woman that has her dead ex-boyfriend stalking her. While Wess is talking to the Nadras, Fred comes over and makes remarks about them being puzzle people. Then they rush off and Angel rushes off to take another case.

Angel goes to a company and meets Harlon Elster. He hires Angel to kill vampires and hands him a check for $5,000. Angel will get another $5,000 when they are dead. After Angel leaves, the real Harlon Elster comes into the office and the other man punches him out.

PtII

Holtz comes back to Justine who wants to know what he wants from her. He wants her to find people like them, and pulls the screwdriver out of her hand. She agrees and punches him. Angel goes to the hotel and Cordy and Fred are there. Gunn and Wess went to take care of the ex-boyfriend stalker. Lorne tells Angel about Holtz poisoning his army and replacing it with humans. The Nadras come in with $50,000 and want Fred to solve puzzle.

Gunn and Wess are at the girl's house when her dead boyfriend grabs Wess. Fred and Lorne are going to the Nadras place for her to solve the puzzle. Angel is at the vampire's nest. He dusts three vamps. He goes back to Harlon Elster's office and meets the real Elster. Sam Ryan was guising as Elster and Angel tears up the check. While Fred is solving the puzzle for the Nadras, Lorne goes upstairs and stumbles onto a meeting where they are planning to use Fred's head and place it on their prince's head. Lorne goes to warn her and gets knocked out.

PtIII

Cordy is with Connor and talking to him about her visions, and her new demon side. Sam Ryan walks into the vampire nest and Angel is there. Sam tells him that these vampires killed his friend, and Sam mentions that there were seven vampires which means that Angel has four more to kill.

Cordy gets a vision of what will happen to Fred when she solves the puzzle. The guys are still at the girl's house and start fighting with her x-boyfriend. This girl's x-boyfriend is pouting, and then the guys find out she poisoned him. They end up getting back together, as gross as that sounds.

At the nest, Angel is refusing to fight and Sam s apologizing to him. Fred solves the puzzle and the Nadras grab her and tie her in a chair. Lorne is tied up on the floor. Cordy shows up with Connor and tells them there has been a misunderstanding. Lorne translates. Lorne threatens the Nadras and then finds out that the guys aren't with Cordy. Big mistake.

PtIV

Angel found a way out for them from the nest, and Sam refuses to leave. Angel has to fight. He kills the vampires and walks away, trying to work his pager at the same time.. Cordy is still trying to make a deal with the Nadras when Wess and Gunn come in and start fighting. The prince is decapitated in the process. Angel comes in through skylight and joins the fight. The Nadras are all defeated, and Angel is apologizing to Cordy for not being around. Gunn and Wess free Fred and she is happy. She tells them she can give them both a kiss and they both lean closer to her expecting one. But Fred helps Lorne, who is still on the floor. Angel apologizes to the group, and tells them that family and the mission is the most important thing. He says this while looking at the $50,000 lying on the floor. Cordy tells him that since they tried to take Cordy's head, they deserve it.

Cordy and Angel are lying in bed with Connor and falling asleep.... Hmmmm.... ???
