Buffy comes home and wants to talk to WIllow about something. She sees Amy. Amy is adjusting to the fact that high school is over. Buffy asks her how she's been and she says rat, and Amy says you? Buffy says dead. Amy heads off looking for cookies. Buffy decides not to pursue her conversation with Willow. She goes downstairs and Amy is watching tv. They see the guard who is frozen.

Buffy goes to check out the scene, and Spike is there. Spike keeps going on about their kisses and Buffy is telling him to let it go. Buffy walks away and Spike grabs her. She hits him, then he hits her. He doesn't get the pain in his head, but fakes it as she sees him. She hits him again and she walks off. Spike goes to the street to find a victim and gets the pain in his head again. He can't figure what's going on.

Tara and Dawn are having their day together. Tara tells Dawn that she will always be there for her, and loves her. They start talking about Willow, and Tara admits she still loves her. At the magic shop, Anya, Xander, Buffy, and Willow are researching. They wonder if they should call Giles. Willow brings out her laptop to see what time it is in London. She places her hands over the computer and it lights up. Willow is using magic to search through the files involving the robbery. They are all a little freaked out, and Anya brings up that Tara left Willow because she was doing too much magic. Willow tries to make them believe everything is ok. Willow doesn't want to leave Amy alone too long.

At the geek lair, the geeks are ready to move onto Phase 2 of their plan. Spike intrudes and demands they investigate his chip. Willow comes home to find Amy waiting for her. She wants to go somewhere. Amy is putting off seeing her dad because it's been three years since she has seen him. She wants to go out. Willow agrees to go.

Meanwhile, Spike is being examined by Warren, one of the geeks. (He built the Buffybot for Spike) They tell him that there is nothing wrong with his chip. Spike realizes there is something wrong with Buffy, not him. Dawn and Tara arrive home, and Dawn convinces Tara to stay with her.

At the Bronze, Amy and Willow are playing pool. They are using magic to shoot the cue ball across the table. Amy gets invited to dance with some guys, and Amy asks Willow if that's ok. Amy offers to find something a little more her style, and snaps her fingers. A brunette woman walks up to WIllow and Willow awkwardly tells Amy she's not ready. Willow goes to the bar and is staring at her olive. Amy comes over to join her and her new dancing partners come to demand Amy to dance with them since she got them all worked up. The girls cast magic and send the guys up to the cages wearing only leather belts.

At the magic shop, Buffy, Xander, and Anya are still trying to find a demon that is a frost monster who eats diamonds. They start talking about Willow, and how she's been using too much magic. Xander suggests they keep an eye on her. The phone rings and Buffy answers it. Spike is trying to talk low but she knows its him. He tells her to meet him in the cemetary, and she says no. She hangs up on him.

The gang leaves and they all head off their separate ways. Spike confronts Buffy in the alleyway. He threatens her and tells her she ought to be careful. He doesn't move out of her way. She hits him, and then he hits her. He tells her the pain is gone, and that she is not human. He tells her she came back wrong. They continue to fight and hit each other. They take the fight into an abandoned house. At the Bronze, Amy and WIllow are using magic all around. They are changing the music by changing the actual bands, and still have the guys dancing in the cages. They are flying people around the club. Goats appear. Some people get smaller, some get bigger.

Buffy and Spike are still fighting in the house. She tells him that he's lost, too. He tells her he is in love with her. At the club, magic ribbons are flying around from Amy and Willow. They return everything to normal. They start discussing going somewhere bigger. Buffy and Spike are still fighting. Buffy starts kissing him. As the house falls down around them, they start having sex.
