Buffy Season VI Episode #121:
"Two To Go" Episode Guide

After Willow kills Warren, Buffy, Anya, Xander run through the woods to try to save Jonathon and Andrew from Willow’s wrath. Buffy uses her slayer strength to run faster and Anya teleports herself into the jail, leaving Xander feeling increasingly useless. Meanwhile, Andrew and Jonathon are in a jail cell. Andrew is trying to contact Warren by talking into his body parts. He thinks Warren will come for them; that the delay is just a test. He admits that Jonathon was eased out of the group. Anya arrives in their cell and tells them what Willow has done and that she is after them. Buffy breaks through a back door as the police are distracted by Willow who begins tearing out bricks from the upper wall of the jail. As police attempt to stop her, she raises herself up and enters the broken wall, only to discover that the boys are gone. She knocks Anya down and screams and screams and screams. Outside, Xander drives up in a police car to rescue Buffy and the geek duo.

As the slayer and the others drive away, Willow arrives atop a huge tractor-trailer that is under her control. She rams their car repeatedly. Suddenly she falls and Jonathon tells the others that she is draining; her power is failing and she must get more.

Back at Spike’s crypt, Clem offers to take Dawn to a movie, but the slayer’s sister makes him take her to find Rack to see if Willow is with him. At Spike’s distant quest site, he meets his first opponent – a huge semi-human who taps his wrists that explode into flame.

At the Magic Box, Anya tells Xander that she can no longer feel Willow’s vengeance, which means that she has crossed the line of simple vengeance. Willow arrives at Rack’s. He is turned on by her "dark juice." He says that she is now a "ripe strawberry." The witch grabs him and sucks his energy from him. Dawn and Clem arrive at Rack’s. Dawn discovers Rack hanging upside down and Willow’s face covered in Rack’s scars. Willow taunts Dawn, telling her that she is not human, but a "mystic ball of energy" and that she doesn’t belong here. The witch offers to send "the key" back to wherever she came from so that no one will have to listen to her whining and so she may escape whatever pain she may feel because of Tara’s death. Buffy arrives.

At the magic shop, Anya tells Xander he is standing too close for her to work. Anya again tells Xander that her tryst with Spike was not vengeance but solace. Xander admits that he feels guilty because he saw the gun and could do nothing to stop his friends from being shot. Andrew wants Jonathon to do magic to get them out of trouble.

At Rack’s, the slayer admonishes Willow for attacking people who love her. Willow retorts that she is a "junkie" and was tired of the previous Willow’s mousy, boring ways. She taunts her friend saying that Buffy kept secrets, screwed a vampire, and was only at peace when she was dead. Willow transports the slayer, Dawn and herself to the magic shop. The witch tries to attack Andrew and Jonathon but Anya created a protection spell.

Back at the beach cave, a burned and bruised Spike defeats the first opponent and goes on to the second. Later, the head of another demon rolls out to the center of the cave. The third trial involves huge beetles crawling all over him.

The slayer and her best friend battle, trashing the shop. Buffy tries to talk Willow out of what she is doing. Xander, the remaining geeks and Dawn leave the shop. Anya hides behind a wall whispering the protection spell. Willow discovers the vengeance demon and grabs her by the neck. Suddenly Willow is thrown through the air. Giles is at the door.
