Good old Easter Eggs. I'm not talking about the chocolate goodies that the shops are currently stacking their shelves with now that Christmas is nothing but a distant memory. I'm talking about the hidden features on DVD's that are hard to access unless you know how. Fear not because here is how you can find them on the Season Six Region 2 DVD's.
Place disc two in your DVD player and select the episode, Once More With Feeling. (Watching the wonderful episode is strictly optional. However, if you do, singing along is compulsary. Back to finding the hidden feature.) In the next menu, highlight the "Language Selection" option which will then take you to a new screen. Navigate across to "Resume Episode" and press up. As if by magic, a "B" appears. Click on this and sit back and watch the Tower Records CD signing featuring some of the cast from the show.
Place disc four in your PC or laptop. Yes, that's right. Not your DVD player. This feature allows you to access the special DVD Rom feature. Go to Doublemeat Palace (not the fast food joint but the episode), and click on "Language Selection". Once on the next screen, move your cursor above the area that says "Resume Episode." That famous "B" will appear. Click on it and you have accessed the call sheet for the episode, Normal Again. Now, if you are a computer doofus like me then you'll need a little more help with this. Well, I'm not going to help. I had to figure it out for myself so I will grant you the same torture. Stop! Come back! I'm just KIDDING! Here's what you do:
Click on your Start menu bar and click on My Computer. Right click on the DVD icon and select "Explore" which opens a new window with an image icon in it called "Buffy6_Callsheet." Click on the icon. Congratulations. You should be very proud for you have accessed the hidden feature. However, reading the writing on the picture is another matter.  |
