After launching an appeal to the fans to donate money in order to run an advert in two major publications, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, the crew at Saving Angel have revealed their latest fund total.
The grand total currently stands at $13,618, thanks to the fans of Angel. Within 38 hours of the launch, their goal had already been reached. Their original estimate was $7,000 for both adverts, although they are holding a full $8,000 aside until the adverts are finalised.
But it doesn't end there. Their next attention-getting goal is to raise funds to buy two weeks on Guerilla Billboards advertising trucks that cover the Santa Monica/Los Angeles area. A draft of the billboard advert will be available as soon as they finalise the design and upload it to the website.
The billboard advert cannot run until "on or about" March 15. If Angel is already holding a house warming party for his new place, they will run an advert congratulating Angel on either renewal by the WB or being picked up by another network.
