Former Buffy star Nick Brendon, stars in ABC television movie, Celeste in the City which airs in the US this month.
The film features Celeste, played by Majandra Delfino, who moves to New York with big dreams and bad hair. But the small-town girl soon discovers her dreams are all but defunct. Things start to look up when her neighbour Kyle (Ethan Embry) befriends her, but she's tragically unhip. Enter her cousin Dana played by Nick Brendon, who rallies his city chic cohorts to give Celeste a major makeover. With a fab new look and bags of new found confidence, Celeste takes the city on but there is still something missing...the real Celeste and real love that's right under her nose. Can she open her eyes in time to see that looks, life and love aren't always what they seem?
