Amber Benson, better known as Tara in Buffy, is set to appear in CBS crime drama Cold Case this week in an episode called "Volunteers."
The gritty drama is centered around lone female detective, Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris) who finds her niche while investigating "cold cases," crimes that have never been solved. Rush questions witnesses of the crimes from years gone by, making use of today's new science and finding fresh clues to solve cases that were previously unsolvable
Although relatively new, Cold Case has become a huge hit in the United States which is no surprise considering producer, Jerry Bruckheimer works on the show. Bruckheimer also produces the massive television hit, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
