 
Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed premiered last night at the glamorous location of The Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
  
Sarah Michelle Gellar looked radiant in white trousers and a pink chiffon top along with flawless make-up. Husband and co-star, Freddie Prinze Jnr went for a casual look sporting jeans, t-shirt, a baseball cap and ocassionally, sunglasses
For those fans not "up" on what the stars look like out-of-character, they must have wondered who Linda Cardellini was when she took to the red carpet. Having lost the glasses and brown bobbed hair her character Velma is instantly recognisable for, Cardellini looked striking in a strapless white dress and silver shoes that were to die for.
Matthew "Shaggy" Lillard wore light coloured trousers, a black open-necked shirt and a smile all night. He is an actor obviously very happy in his work.
 
Alicia Silverstone, who plays a journalist in the sequel, sported a short skirt which had "You have a voice. Make it heard" on the back, along with a striking red top with the word, "Angels" on it. Was she trying to tell the mourning Angel fans something? Well, no, but we like the concept anyway.
There was one star missing from the red carpet and that was Scooby Doo himself. But he managed to delight the fans who saw the premiere last night with everybody showering the film with praise as they left the theatre.
