As we reported back in March, Danny Strong ran the New Orleans Marathon to raise money for the AIDS Project Los Angeles charity. Having finished the 26.2 mile run in a little over six hours, we can now tell you that Danny raised the second largest amount of money at the marathon.
Danny said, " "[The money] will allow AIDS Project Los Angeles to continue to provide vital services such as prevention education, food banks, transportation, home health care and other important AIDS services - to help keep people alive until there's a cure."
He added, "Thanks for your generous support. It truly means a lot to me and the thousands of people that will get much needed help."
Congratulations to Danny and well done to all those who sponsored him. You can still make a donation by going here |
